We stayed at the Best Western for one night in Grand Haven. The room was clean and appeared to be newly renovated. The bed was super comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

Room was very large and clean. But the walls were very thin. I could hear the neighbours TV. Overall a very nice stay.

Hostess at front desk was cold to me, spoke to soft, never smiled, was not willing to say anything except the rules over and over. She finally called the manager who was off duty. She was wonderful. The other girl is not a people friendly person.

We stayed at the Best Western Beacon Inn numerous times. The room and property are always clean, convenient and we like that price includes breakfast.

Other guests were staying in the hotel and were drinking beer in the hot tub; being very loud and saying things that made my family feel incredibly unsafe. As we were going to bed, we found a cockroach crawling around the nightstand. We were instructed to let management know if we saw it again, so they could then report it.

The main facility appeared new but we were placed in an out-facility that was in below average condition. We could hear our neighbor’s TV very clearly until 1:30 AM, at which time I called the front desk. There were six occupants in the 20 room out-facility and we were all placed side by side. The TV in each room was adjacent to the headboard in the adjoining room, which makes no sense, and the sound attenuation was horrible. Another experience like this and Best Western in off of our list as preferred options.

Courtyard view was in the rooms description. Our view was a side of the main hotel building. AC worked great and was quiet. Not sure why we were placed next to an active talkative tennant, as this location had many open rooms. First night was not quiet but nights 2 & 3 were quiet. Liked the closeness of nearby resturants and stores. Loved the breafast selections & hot tub.

If you don’t book directly with them, they put you in the rundown part. The check in person is rude. Breakfast is horrible. The rundown part is like from the 70’s. Noisy and gross. Never again! They were rude since I booked thru Expedia.

The room was very clean & comfortable, but the temperature was impossible to regulate, tv didn’t work, & the blanket (very thin) didn’t come up to our shoulders even. For the price, I feel there should be more attention to these details. It was a nice short drive to downtown & beaches, which was nice.

Loved the 1st floor courtyard rooms, but hated the dog that the woman who apparantly lives there takes out in the courtyard and barks at everything. Would have like to sit out on patio after it cooled down at night but the lights are constantly on, so bugs are out. Dissappointing bc we were at the hotel a lot on this vacation, but its a decent hotel.

The Hotel was very nice, clean and the staff was excellent. How ever the matress in our room was no better than a mat at the gym. The side of the bathtub was so high we were affraid to climb in. I would never recommend this hotel and we will never return. We will go across the street to Bay Mont.

I like that is was convenient and close to everything we wanted to do . I didn’t like the fact that there was constant issues with WiFi. I could not get an internet connection. Also, there was constant dripping coming from the faucet in the bathtub.
