Convenient location

From check in to check out staff was smiling, helpful, and courteous. Had everything we needed for a quick visit to Central Michigan University.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was deeply disappointed with my experience. The room was in terrible condition: the comforter was visibly dirty, and the room had a persistent, unpleasant odor. It was evident that the room had not been cleaned properly, leaving it a complete mess. I deeply regret not purchasing insurance for a potential refund, as this stay was far from acceptable. Overall, this experience was far below expectations, and I would not recommend staying here.

Decent, free breakfast. Comfy pillows, clean sheets. The staff was friendly and helpful. We just needed a place to crash for the night. Didn't really explore the amenities.

It was very dirty and they didnt have rooms cleaned for us to stay in and had to move hotels. Would not recommned this hotel.

Its located in a convenient area which is near to all necessary shops.

The exterior of the hotel looked in rough shape, parking lot is cracked up with weeds overgrown everywhere. Check in was good, the clerk was very friendly. Room was very dusty, had no decoration and the only color in the room was the out of place curtains. Our beds were made very sloppily and upon inspection we found hairs in one of the beds and a blood stained pillow on the other. The room had a musty smell to it. The toilet had stains in it and didnt flush very well. When we got to our room I started searching for other available rooms in the area, but we decided to stick it out. During the night we encountered lots of noises including a knocking sound that we discovered was the automatic door in the lobby that our room was directly above. So we did not get the best sleep. At breakfast, the one employee was manning the entire thing and was working her butt off, but I observed multiple times when she wasnt practicing food safety. And some of the equipment wasnt working properly either. The paper plates provided were strange. I also thought the plastic tip cup sitting next to the empty coffee carafe was very tacky. They needed more than 1 person running the breakfast. Overall, I definitely will not be staying at this hotel again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Our room smelled musky when we arrived and by the time we left it smelled like sewer gas! Did complain only to be told we were not the only ones to complain about that! The pool was cloudy and the pool lift did not work after being told it did work by the manager. The breakfast person was unable to keep up with the flow of people and was handling food with her bare hands? Where were her gloves?

Hotel was great for a quick one night stay. Staff were friendly. When we got into the room there were stains on pillowcases and we called housekeeping and they quickly handled it.

Arrived early and were able to get an early check in

We were very surprised as we did not think anything about this property lived up to the standard that were used to in a Marriott hotel. We have stayed at Fairfield before and almost always been very pleased.

Hotel was overbooked so they put us up into their sister hotel but they charged me for that hotel as well and it has been a nightmare trying to get money back. I was on the phone for hours and I still have not heard back on what they want to do. hotel is beautiful management not so much

Our stay was okay but I had to wipe the desk off because something had spilled on it and our bathroom wasn’t the cleanest

Property was comfortable. Bathroom had some mildew so it did have a slight odor. The rest of the room was fresh. Beds were comfortable. Hot breakfast options ran out before time was half over.

Very nice & very quiet hotel & great location right in the downtown area with lots of choices for food close by. Loved the large towels for showering & the faucet being large & ability to move around.

The hotel was amazing, the breakfast was great. Clean rooms, and friendly staff… and helpful. However our pull our couch was smaller than advertised- with no blanket available, there were no extra towels in the room, no extra toilet paper. Had to go the front desk multiple times for things which was frustrating.

TV broken, shower poor pressure and either hot or cold, AC thermostat didn’t work.

Location was perfect..not far from anything.. Weather made it just that much more perfect

Convenient stay.

Everyone was quick to meet our needs. The poil had just been refilled and wasn't heated up yet but was by the next day.
