Unfortunately this was the last hotel we stayed in during our 2 week visit to the LA area. There are many hotels in this area. You can find another one that is nicer and less expensive. While there were a couple of nice features, the pool area, the housekeeping staff, and a microwave available in the ice machine area (though the ice machine didn’t work), our stay was overall not good. The first issue started at the front desk. The clerk, Aja (not sure if I spelled it right), was not friendly. With every request we got attitude and the feeling we were interrupting her day. She was unhelpful when I requested a room near the back of the property. Though I paid for a balcony room, she claimed that there were no balcony rooms near the end of the property and gave us a room without a balcony nor the ability to fully open a windows We needed help with the TV remote control Saturday and there was no explanation of what to do, only a change of batteries which we had already done. She was on her personal phone each time we had an interaction with her. On Saturday she seemed to be babysitting a group of teenagers who were hanging out in the lobby. I have not had such rudeness from hotel staff in my life. In the room, we could not make the thermostat work. The room was either muggy or freezing, There were ants in the bathroom and on the ground by the AC unit, and also near microwave. We could not watch TV since we could never figure out the remote. We heard noise from the hallways.

Hotel staff did not quiet a rowdy and noisy group of guests in the courtyard after 10 p.m. I called the front desk at 10:30 p.m. to ask how long these guests would be outside and the desk clerk said he would ask them to either quiet down or leave. They stayed around the firepit until 11:30 p.m. making lots of noise, just below my window, which kept me awake when I needed to sleep. Pissed me off, because I paid a pretty penny to stay there; ruined my stay.

The hotel lobby and room were very clean and modernized. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quite spacious with a nice rollout desk to use for a laptop. I stayed at a Courtyard in Baldwin Park the day before my stay in Torrance and the Torrance Courtyard is superior in quality. I only wish the breakfast or cafe was open past 11 a.m., however I will stay here the next time I visit family in the Redondo Beach area.

Everyday morning noise very much.

The couch had a wooden extension, ostensibly to put phone or cup. Instead of it being at armrest height (like the other side). It was at shin height and only a few inches from the bed. Knocked into it several times.

This hotel provided a welcome place to rest during our visit to attend our granddaughter's graduation from university. Thanks. We were refreshed.

I have not received my $100 security deposit back and it is 2 weeks past my checkout.

Best hotel for staying in the Torrance area. Safe location, clean, quiet and very nice amenities! Lovely pool and firepit area... and great employees too. Have stayed here many times and wouldn't stay anywhere else. Would definitely recommend.

I did not know they did not have A KITCHEN.

Too bad room refrigerator didn’t work, and they weren’t able to bring a replacement. They did find me a room like I requested.

Comfortable stay. But for the expensive price we paid it should have been cleaned everyday with fresh towels and sheets replaced automatically.

Area around is residential but if you have a car you can get to other areas of interest. Parking is FREE WHICH IS INCREDIBLE for LA. Hotel is very clean and comfortable

Restaurant has great tasting food, bar serves a variety of drinks. Nice to not have to leave after a long drive.

I had a wonderful 4-night stay here. The rooms were modern and clean, the bed comfortable, and the shower was a dream. I'm a light sleeper, so having a room right across from the elevator was a problem for me, but the staff accommodated my request for a room change (they were all very kind). The hotel had everything I needed - I just need the basics to be comfortable - so I was really pleased. I'd definitely stay here again.

A quick 1-night stay. The roon was comfortable, clean and well maintained. Nice location, with plenty of parking. Service was great as well. Will definitely stay here again.
