Very good overall, but we dislike the shower head

Everything was beautiful and comfortable. Bar area needs a little sprucing up but you can sit outside in their beautiful courtyard

Unfortunately, no early check-in was available. While we waited, drinks were not cheap at the bar, and the ladies' restroom off the main lobby was very dirty. The valet service at checkout time was a long wait, which a hotel should know in order to schedule staffing for checkout.

This is a business hotel, old school, with dark wood furniture and no frills. Not as close as I would have liked to visit Old Pasadena. No pad or pen in the room. No Keurig (there is another drip coffee maker). Amazing car valet service. Very expensive breakfast and no buffet. And to my surprise there was a dirty napkin on the floor of the patio from 10am until at least 8pm that no one picked up. Really?

We have stayed some time ago at this Westin and we did get a fabulous view from our room over the downtown. The hotel is in a great area and walking distance from downtown. However, although the lobby and downstairs facilities all look good our superior room felt a little tired in terms of the decor and we did have some issues we were not expecting. There was some sticky residues on the light switches as if they had not been cleaned. That really leaves a bad impression as cleanliness should be priority #1 after the last few years. Window handles were broken and could not properly shut the window once opened. Our shower was not working correctly and both showers heads came on at once and could not find a solution to it. The elevators were also very slow. We weren't the only ones to comment on this as on more than one occasion it took over 3-4 minutes for an elevator to arrive.

If you drive an SUV use valet. Self parking is mostly compact. Had to park in two spots and was afraid of getting towed. Booked a king through hotels.com, since it’s a 3rd party booking they downgraded me to 2 doubles.

Very nice hotel, I like the indoor parking structure, very secure.

It was the best sleep I've had in months. The room, the bed, the pillows, the customer service all excellent.

Front desk staff was brash and unwelcoming. Sheets were old and dirty white. Old pillows….

Comfortable sleep. Very quiet. Fast in-room dining and the overal property is pretty. Unfortunately, it wasn’t clean. The baseboards have the thickest layer of dirt. The shower and sink had hair strands. The bathroom had completely empty bottles of body wash and shampoo. So that hadn’t been checked.

Careless customer service, nice location, poor amenities.

The check in process was quite the nightmare. I have the booking receipt and itinerary number that my name was in the reservation, but the receptionist asked the “correct person”, my wife, to contact the hotel. My wife had to stop working to call…..turns out Hotels.com had to be the ones who contact the hotel. If we were told to contact the booking website in the beginning it would have been easier since no one is picking up the phone in the hotel and I didn’t have to waste two hours of my life. If I had to say something positive, I’d like to thank Hotels.com for assisting us in contacting this hotel (agent fixed the whole situation within 15 minutes). Hotels.com was great; the hotel, not so much.

This hotel did not meet Westin standards. After checking in my wife was taking a shower and found that instead of bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash, there were two bottles of body wash, one of conditioner and no shampoo. I called the front desk who said they would get right on it. When no shampoo had arrived in 10 minutes i called again and the front desk say, "we sent the request in right away." The shampoo arrived long after my wife finished her shower. I had the same problems years ago at a Residence Inn. The front desk found and shampoo and brought it up to my room. Later I told the front desk that I was only using valet parking for some of the days of our stay. The front desk said no problem. Later the charges were on my final bill. The sink in our bath room did not properly drain. I asked for additional towels. They did not come. The pool was not of sufficient length to swim laps. While none of these are big problems, they deserve to be noted.

The hotel and surrounding property were beautiful . Staff was very helpful and friendly . Clean spacious and comfortable rooms . There is a nice outdoor pool with bar service during the day and up to date modern fitness studio. The location is a nice area close to shops and restraunts. I would definitely stay again .

The location was great. They were so understaffed: couldn't get help with luggage, restaurant service was painfully slow and getting our car took 20 minutes.

Had to book a hotel for apartment fumigation. Room was surprisingly quiet for a lower floor. I could only hear traffic if it was a harley. Big bathroom with shower-bath, which was nice, though operating it required a call to the front desk, which was hilarious. Slightly odd layout, but big windows and powerful AC. Water was provided and the fridge was unusually big. Coffee/maker as well. Ice was close by. Condition was pretty good, although water damage was on the side of sink by shower (close the curtain people!). Amenities were provided in shower (eco-style). Bed was huge, desk was very useful and I got work done. I did wish internet was free without having to sign up for some app thing. Chair had stains. There was a large TV that I didn't use. I did miss the old pen/paper thing for notes, but eco. Clock also charged iphone, which was a happy surprise. Staff were very helpful and efficient with hotel information. Funky note: Blackout shade has a cool outline of Pasadena City Hall, which you can barely see until you lift the light shade.

The room we stayed in was almost perfect except the toilet tank system made a loud noise every time we flushed and the shower drained slowly.

The stay was great we just had a difficult time getting into the space. We spent about 30 minutes trying to get our car taken by valet. The front turnaround was full of parked cars. Once we got in we had a reservation for 3 rooms for 1 night. Original checkin was 3:00pm. There were no rooms ready, waited till 4:30 for our first room. Had our info and would contact us when the others would be ready. Then checked in at 6:00pm and was able to get the second one. Finally was told we would have our third room at 7:45pm. The rest of the stay was great. Hotel is beautiful and rooms were nice and clean.

Everything about the property was fantastic! The rooms are a really good size. But whatever you do do not eat at the restaurant! I got totally the wrong appetizer and the scallops were literally ice cold in the center!

No informational binder showing where ice machine was & no room service info or menu. Cust service gave me wrong info re: where I could find ice. I was parched when I arrived and had to go up & down several floors searching for ice & gave up. So, very disappointing "luxury" getaway for me at my 50th San Marino High School Reunion.

Very tired property. Air conditioning didn’t work, called the front desk. They worked on it for 45 minutes. Said it was fixed and it wasn’t. No air conditioning when it’s 100° in LA is not a good stay.

front desk was very quick and efficient but not friendly. pay parking in garage was expensive. no towels at pool. resturant signage was misleading. nice hotel but needs an upgrade in service and useability
