Nice people, nice place. Pool was small but kids don’t judge a pool, they just enjoy it.

DO NOT STAY AT THE LOCATION IN SANTA FE!!! Our toilet did not flush and when we called for assistance they brought us a plunger to use ourselves since maintenance had gone home. Told us we could use the bathroom on the main floor if we couldn’t unclog it. When I complained to the general manager she told me “today is not the day to do this with me lady” among other rude things. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

I find Holiday Inn Express to be a solid choice as long as the place has been recently updated and this one has. Clean, comfortable, good breakfast. This place was more expensive than most but that seems to be a Santa Fe thing.

Santa Fe Holiday Inn Express was a comfortable, affordable experience. Beds were something a person can melt into. The room and hotel, in general, were clean. Our room had a funky dirty.sock smell, except the bathroom which smelled like cleaner…not at all unpleasant. We were in a handicap-equipped room. The shower head pressure was uncomfortably strong until I adjusted the spray. A delicious breakfast buffet was offered. Nothing out of the ordinary, but sustaining and enough choice to find something good.

I travel quite a bit by car between Denver and Scottsdale, so I often choose Santa Fe to layover. I booked this hotel last minute & when I pulled into the parking lot, I realized I had stayed here before. HIE is usually a safe bet so didn’t think much of it. The hotel was fine, desk & check in fine, breakfast…meh. After I ate, I went back to my room for a quick shower & checkout. I put the “Resting” or “Do not disturb” sign on the door & showered & sat on the bed nude to dress. All of a sudden, without a knock or announcement, the maid came charging in after using her passkey and wash shocked to see me! I yelled, “READ THE F’ING SIGN!!” I then realized that the same type of thing happened LAST time I stayed here. And yep, I checked, there was my review that I posted on Feb. 2nd (?) 6 months ago with the title, “They need to TRAIN THEIR HOUSEKEEPING STAFF BETTER. Unbelievable. Yes, I should have used the top lock, that was my mistake but I was in a hurry & never dreamed that someone would just charge-in without a knock or announcement. I made the desk clerk read my prior review. You can be assured that I will find someone in charge, regionally, to show this terribly managed hotel.

Great place to stay solo or with family

For the money, this place was terribly disappointing. We stayed 3 nights. Day 2, they were out of breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits), before 8:30 am. We had to beg for a roll of toilet paper, since our restroom had very little when we got there. The pool was nasty as seen in photo. I’m guessing a health risk.

We had a large group of kids and the staff was great. Breakfast was great. The building and rooms were clean and the hotel was easy to get to. Saul was behind the desk both nights we stayed and was excellent, even with all the kid requests;) We will stay again.

Rooms are much smaller than the pictures appear on this website. Staff couldn't care less about our experience at the hotel. Horrible experience.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly, rooms were cozy, breakfast was very good. It was close to all kinds of restaurants and shopping. The only thing that needed attention was the hot tub/pool. The hot tub was dirty, you could see dirt floating in it and a grimy film on the top. The pool was very cold.

The room was soooo clean! Everyone was so incredibly kind and the property was very well maintained. The room had awesome beds, pillows and black out shades that were amazingly dark! The location was convenient on the strip outside downtown, while feeling safe, and only a 15 min drive to historic downtown. We do have 2 complaints. 1: our card was charged before we arrived, and our reservation stated we don’t pay until check in. This was a problem because the card we held our room with was different than the card we planned to use, so this caused some financial frustration for us. 2: The included breakfast was one of the best we found on our trip, however, all the plates, bowls and cups were styrofoam! Who still uses styrofoam?! It is irresponsible for this hotel chain to still utilize this ecological disaster of a material. Charge the guests a dollar more and give us paper or something compostable! It’s 2024, get with it!

Convenient location.

My partner and I enjoy staying at different hotels for the experience. Our room was on the first floor, king size bed, simple, quiet, safe room, breakfast was good and staff was friendly.

Really enjoyed our stay from the minute we walked through the door to check in. Friendly staff, easy check-in, nice room and great breakfast. Hope to see you again.

Front desk check in was great. Hotel rooms were large and comfortable. Room was exceptionally clean. Enjoyed my two night stay here very much.
