It was a good stay ,one knows what to expect from a City Lodge, and, they deliver. The stay pleasant, the staff are great, friendly and efficient. The room is good, probably needs an upgrade (my humble opinion), the bed is comfortable and the bathroom is adequate. The shower door did not shut fully and was somewhat bothersome. I did not have time for breakfast, but, I know that the breakfast here is good. Decent variety, very fresh and really nice staff to give you a good start to your day. I would stay here again, it's a good choice at a fairly reasonable price.

Nice hotel, just quite disturbing that as a smoker, you cannot go outside at the pool area to the smoking area after 9PM. They lock the door. So, in essence you are treated like a child, or a criminal and have to go out the front to the parking lot to have a cigarette. This also compromises your safety. I probably will NEVER stay there again, as this is the first hotel I have stayed in ever that does this and definately the ONLY CLHG establishment in the group that does this.
A hotel and public area amenities are supposed to be avialable 24/7.

I feel very mixed about this hotel. The staff was quite nice checking us in, the pool seemed nice, and the restaurant was fairly nice as well. The halls smelled, our door did not lock (like not even a little bit), and a staff member opened our door two hours before checkout without knocking (and without using a key, just pushing the very unlockable door open). Luckily they had a safe, and no other incidents occured.

Easy and Comfortable sray, the staff are so welcoming and efficient at check-in. The hotelnis nuce and clean, a bit dated (my opinion) but a good, wholesome experience. The room is nice and neat, the shower us really good, big enough and very relsxing after a long day. That bed, I want to stick it in my bag and take it home. The breakfast, very good, decent variety and tasty and generous. Overall, impressive, I would return.

Perfect location to ICC, rooms seemed recently renovated, new bedding, towels etc.
My room 078 is on the ground / basement floor and whilst everything seems brand new there was an odd smell in the room, like a mix of damp and mothballs. Not sure if this is due to the lower floor location that picks up more moisture, but might be worthwhile for management to look into.
Otherwise all great.

Rooms are good and clean except for very limited stock in the room. Two people had to share a very small bar of soap twice and also for tea/coffee same story no refills.
If there can be phones in the rooms to call reception in case of any emergency or need.

The cleaning stuff needs to properly clean the rooms. Our room was not cleaned when we not properly cleaned when we got there since there was hair all over the floor

Poor Air Conditioning when it's Piping Hot. Unable to Sleep. Don't stay here. The front desk can't print the invoice for the stay, when asked why they advise "Because we haven't paid our bills".

I enjoyed my stay, although it would help if more staff is able to help guests to check-in as it took forever and it was the 31st which means they expected a large number of people. we also kindly request bar fridges if possible as ice was not easily available.

The hotels staff is friendly and professional, the rooms are clean. the only problems is the fridges, we have very small hotels and B&B's that have fridges. They have to move with the tomes and get organised. Drinking a hot beer in a hot City is not cool. We are a developing countryl but we have first world facilities.

The stay was average, check in was satisfactory, could have been better and staff were busy communicating with one another instead of helping customers. The hotel is slowly losing uts cleanliness and comforting look. I can safely say it wont take long for this to be another run down hotel. Was crowded and little check on sanitisation and visitors following Covid protocols. Was an agerage stay. Not what im used to from the City Lodge Group!

I had a wonderful time staying at city lodge, staff were friendly and professional and parking clean and safe on-sight,beautiful clean rooms and wonderful premises all-round, I would definitely recommend the next person to book there and I would bring my family back again.

Hotels.com stated a room with a bed and sleeper couch, however the hotel did not have this available. Although I was logged in while booking, Hotels.com is being dishonest and not allocating my reward night/sticker. The night lady manager did not apologise for the inconvenience. Actually she did not even welcome or greet us.
