The hotel is nice but relatively old and a bit far away from the main streets.

It is better to use taxi to go to the hotel because the hotel is a bit far from Susikino station by walk.

The staff was quite helpful in recommending us places to eat around our area, even provided us with a map. The parking was paid for and it uses a lift to park the cars. There was even a gift shop in the hotel lobby. The room was quite spacious too.

You people have no idea of what we call hospitality when we play to Japan. Well, this is just a hotel for sleeping, but having such a person without a smile at the front desk only degrades the dignity of the hotel!

We arrived just before midnight due to flight delays and the staff were so accomodating. The room was spacious for our family of 5 and very clean. Nice quiet location and close to bars, restaurants and shops. The staff and service were amazing, everyone was very friendly.

Great location for our family of four - we took the train from Sapporo airport and walked with our luggage to this hotel. Do- able even though it’s the snowy conditions. Opt for the breakfast buffet because it is delicious and has a lot of Western and Japanese foods to choose from. Easy to walk to the main drag of restaurants and shops. Comfy beds for the four (2 teenagers) of us in one large room, which is not easy to find in Japan. We had to have two separate hotel rooms in Tokyo.

We had an excellent experience staying at the Sapporo Excel Hotel. The location is great and close to the train station although we drive. We booked for a double bed and the space is so huge compare to standard hotel in Japan. Staff are really friendly and helpful with a great support.

Generally it was good experience, little disappoint from the hotel to ask for extra money to extend the checkout in 1 hours although they were not fully booked. Rather than that it is in a good condition and was convenient.

I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. For a 3-pax bedroom, it is quite spacious. The sofa bed is very comfortable and long enough for 1.85m tall boy. The hotel is in a inner street which I worry about the safety at night. The air-con is not strong enough. Other than the above, everything is good, especially the staff is very friendly and helpful.Also, it provides shutted bus to JR Sapporo that is so good.

The pods do not have AC, and the ventilation fan is not enough to keep the pod from being very hot and very stuffy. If there was an ac unit with a vent in each pod, or even just a better fan system, this would be absolutely wonderful, but I woke up everymorning poorly rested and sweating.

Overall this hotel is superb very convenient spacious functional and cleaned room. The front desk is excellent. Ms. A Nagaoke tried to help us real hard for our wine delivery request and even called us back to let us know that delivery was delayed so we could canceled order on time and get the money back. All other requests to front desk were also took good care of.
However, only one thing should be improved. All 4 mattresses in our deluxe room are as hard as wood so after staying for one week every one seems to have backache even we never had this symptom before.

Can say everything was okay for the facilities..Clean, comfortable and warm welcome as well.
If I have to say with weak point, I think the hotel position was not easy to find.However, you can take a hotel bus from Northern are of Sappore Station and you can be reached in 30 minutes without any problems.

Hotel is a little out of the main shopping area 15 minutes walk. Breakfast was poor never changed all the time i was there and with a number of coach parties staying there can get busy at times. Room size was good and a very large bathroom. Overall it was a good hotel worth the money.

A no-frills hotel, however always a reliable and clean choice with good service. Convenient location near trams and subway, walking distance to restaurants and bars in Susukino.

Location was great, very short walk to nakajima park and the touristy downtown area. Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Staff helped us book a table at a restaurant. We stayed here om the first and last day of our stay, and were very happy with it.

My only negative is the unexpected 1,500yen parking fee (I had assumed that with its own parking tower, it would be free parking for guests). But overall, extremely happy with our choice of hotel.
