Loved every bit of it. The transfer from Hamilton island to the daydream island location is a dogs breakfast. Very limited information on this and also can not rent a cart at the airport.

Daydream resort is a beautiful island suitable for all ages and families. Everything you need or want to do is right there.

The tanks and open waterways that displayed tropical fish was really great. The dining options are very limited, breakfast area was always full of birds both walking around and flying around which was unhygienic. Birds were stealing food off the tables and the buffet area. The staff were unconcerned and unbothered. Everything needed a bit of work, from rusted table legs through to aging facilities.

The minute we arrived at Hamilton Island and boardered the ferry to Daydream Island we were on a wonderfull break.

So expensive to stay here, it was ok but not for the mo ey we had to pay. Staff rarely cracked a smile, mostly young and miserable. Coffee desk sighed a few times and they were very very slow, no sense of urgency, even greeted us once by saying “what do you want” followed by a sigh. Swimming pools freezing. Had to ask constantly for fresh towels and to empty bins in room. Gave you 2 coffee pods at the beginning and they never got topped up, we had to ask for more to be delivered, the room team don’t top them up, only avail at reception. Breakfast very average, but you could find something that might stop you from being hungry. Balcony furniture falling apart and had been stuck with chewing gum at one point! Good to hear about the living reef, that was a free talk. Lovers Cove lovely and relaxing and sheltered from the wind. Takeaway lunchtime pizza was very expensive $30 for a 10” - greasy and really not nice, way too sickly, seems one step up from a frozen one. Intensity restaurant - tried to make it upper class but fail miserably with it being full of screaming kids, tables / cutlery not properly cleaned and over powering food / fish smells. 3 days maximum there I would say, we stayed 5 nights and found it to be too long, but it is personal preferences. Take food for lunches / dinner etc to help out. You can’t even buy a sandwich anywhere for lunch. The room has a fridge kettle and coffee pod machine. Beautiful location Staff were friendly and helpful Shop needs more options to buy heathly snack food. Plenty of gluten free options and alternate milks for those with dietary requirements for breakfast Take reef shoes and make them available for purchase in the shop Reef world aquarium great learning experience.

Bed in resort was like sleeping on bricks. Bathroom has mould all in edges of bath/shower. Outdoor deck was unclean. Two dinning options and very expensive. Store on island I paid $20 for a box of Panadol 😳
