I I think the greatest strength of this hotel is that all the staff do their best for the customers until the end.
The spacious rooms, cleanliness, and stylish remodeling are already mentioned in many reviews. It was really great.
I booked a full board for meals, but I only enjoyed breakfast, so I don't have much to say about the food. It wasn't very diverse, but it was sufficient for breakfast, and both Western and Japanese food were good. (However, the French toast was not as good as other hotels, but the cappuccino was good.)
I have stayed at more than 10 hotels in Fukuoka, but the staff here were particularly friendly. When I checked out, I asked a staff to call to cancel a restaurant reservation and he helped me.
Also, when I picked up my luggage from the storage for hours and got into an Uber, two staffs came out to help me carry my luggage, so I didn't have to carry my heavy luggage.
I really remember how they continued to work hard for their customers even after check-out. I definitely want to visit again next time.

This place is absolutely something special. It was so clean and puts you right in the middle of everything good in Fukuoka. Staff at this hotel were so friendly and went out of their way to make this a spectacular stay.

We enjoyed the unique design elements of the hotel, as well as the extra bonus of all meals being included. The room was comfortable and the food tasty. Location is convenient to shopping and dining, if you choose to eat out for a change of pace.

We chose this hotel because we stayed at one of the company’s other hotels, The Knot in Hiroshima, and had such a wonderful experience; their staffer Charlie recommended we stay at Il Palazzo and we were grateful he did.
While The Knot has everything fun on the top floor, this hotel has everything fun on B1. And given some of the 4-star rated hotels we’ve stayed in, this I consider a 5-star.
The hotel is in a great location with so much nearby. It’s beautiful and the rooms are big, super comfortable and with a phenomenal western bed!! But the best part was honestly the staff. Our room included complimentary breakfast, lunch and dinner and there we met to Mr. Tomoyuki Kuwata (Tomosan) who was incredibly kind and helpful! Serrah and the other staff (I’m sorry not to remember their names) were always smiling and asking to help.

This hotel is in an amazing area. Just a short ride from the airport. And your in the heart of Fukuoka! So many choices for restaurants, shopping, and night life. Hotel is very comfortable, with American size rooms. Also after a long flight the bathtub is amazingly huge. Actually the biggest I’ve ever seen! Highly recommend this Hotel!!!

We stayed at Il Palazzo for 2 nights during the Rugby World Cup. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was very spacious, with a large wet-room style shower and a full-sized bath tub with a separate toilet.
Breakfast was very good with a huge selection of Japanese and Western choices.
The hotel is a short walk from loads of restaurants and in the evening there are many Yatei carts just across the river as well.

It is not easy to meet such a large room in Japan. It's a very pleasant hotel because of its large room.
2.0
It's a fancy hotel, but the rooms need a little updating. Just some new paint or new furniture that's slightly damaged. That would make it really a 4 star hotel. They charged for the water bottles in the room. That's odd, because every other 4 star hotel would give that to you. So just some tidying up and a little more service and it's all in order.

good location. Hotel run down and needs updating. On arrival you have to carry suitcases up numerous steps as there is no elevator

It was a great stay overall! The location was good, just opposite the yatai food stalls, and a few minutes away from hakata canal city. Staff were friendly and service was excellent. Parking garage was also next to the hotel. The room was sufficiently big, and extremely clean.
Take note, there is no lift from the walkway to the reception, so you have to carry your luggage up the stairs. The bathroom is also open concept, so it might be a little inconvenient.

Disappointed - overall, decent accommodations but staff was not very helpful. Upon arrival, I had to drag my (extremely) heavy luggage from the street up two flights of stairs in the rain to get to the entrance - no elevator much less a covered area to get to the main entrance. I checked in after 10 pm & was told i must be out by 11 or pay a fee. In any other hotel that i have stayed in in Fukuoka they would be happy to give me another hour or two to sleep at no charge but not here. As I just spent the last 28 hrs traveling I said fine & that I’ll pay whatever & to just be sure to leave me alone & let me sleep. The room was comfortable yet small - as most Japanese accommodations are. I was woken up at a few minutes past 11 and told I must check out or pay - the whole point in staying later was to be able to sleep undisturbed but they couldn’t even let me do this. When I went to check out I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk but they really couldn’t understand basic English so I asked for the manager who also had a poor grasp of the language. I explained that the whole point in extending my time was to be able to rest & that i was very unhappy with the situation & that at the Hilton or Hyatt or The Okura they all would extend the courtesy of a few extra hours as I checked in so late. The manager said that’s the company policy & he couldn’t do anything. The staff was nice but completely useless. Unacceptable - i will not be back.

The service, breakfast and location of Hotel IL Palazzo is good. However, they don’t have a elevator connecting from the ground floor to their lobby. They have staff helping guests to bring luggages. It’s still not convenient in some way.

The staff here was super accommodating and helpful. Location near Canal City mall was very convenient. The furniture was pretty weathered, I think the hotel needs some upgrade investment.

Nice hotel. Bathroom shower does not have complete privacy. Stairs at main entrance is not great when dealing with luggage. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Overall was a powitive experience

Beautifully designed, European styled exterior with modern styled interior. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Located in Nakasu, a local nightlife area, convenient to walk to hotspots nearby and a ten minute or so walk to major subway stations. It's a fifteen or so minute walk to Hakata station, the major transportation hub for the area.
