Hotel location and room were great. Fantastic place to stay. Generally service was good as was some of the food served in the restaurant. Great value for the high quality.

The building has a great location. The decor is mostly antique classy rather than modern sleek. I think it was great that it has its own personality for being as Marriott “chain” hotel.
The room service was super friendly with lots of food options. The gym was far more extensive than most hotels. Views from the room were great. Lots of things to do and places to eat right downtown.

The room was very clean along with the rest of the property. The restaurant in the hotel had delicious food. The address provided through the Orbitz app was a little confusing and we ended up parking a block further away from the hotel.

Amazingly efficient check-in. Easy self-parking. Very pleasant check-in staff and waiter. These guys went above expectations. Very nice room.

Had an enjoyable weekend. The site and staff were spectacular. Didn’t touch my Jeep all weekend, we walked and used the Trax, which was convenient to the Marriot.

Staff were friendly! Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance and convenient access to the trax system if you have an event at the Rice Eccles Stadium!

Fantastic service and comfort! Love this location as it’s right next to the gallivant center and walking distance to the major attractions in Salt Lake. The staff is really over the top. rooms are well appointed & spacious! The chicken smells good, huh? All right well that’s why I made it. Great leadership from Kyle At the front desk and all of his team.

Such a wonderful stay in the heart of Salt Lake! Clean and quite beautiful. The front desk staff was courteous and very personable. We’ll stay here again without question.

I always stay here because I love everything about it. However, this time I reserved for a king bed room and, because they had an activity during the weekend, they just provided a two queen side beds. I went twice to the front desk asking to change my room, but they just said that they did not have any available, that they will check later. I did not get any further communication.

I was charged through Expedia (paid in full before arrival) and then charged again the full amount (receiving a final email receipt from Marriott showing I was charged again on the deposit credit card) so now I’ve paid twice and no one will be around for the next 3 days to reconcile. The facility was great however having to call back and getting cards reimbursed is one more unnecessary headache.

Loved it all but the noise between rooms. You could hear when fellow guests were using the showers and toilets. Hard to have a sleep in.

Every time I push the elevator to go up to my room it pushed into the wall. Didn’t feel safe about that at all in the hot tub did not work. And for the price of the rooms and I had four people with me I should’ve got breakfast food out for people outrageous prices for your food.
