Not used to the European wet bathroom which was a shock and the hotel parking was very limited. Breakfast buffet was wonderful as was the staff. We had a room that overlooked a park with a view of Hallgrimskirkja which was nice. We were in walking distance of everything: Main shopping district, restaurants, and the harbor. Would stay here again.

Good location

The room was a glorified dorm room, with a small window for air circulation. The shower was quite possibly the smallest I have ever encountered.

This was a great place to stay! Easy and quick walk to city center and the parking was an added bonus. Staff was very helpful as well.

This is a good hotel located close to everything. Breakfast is excellent at a good price. There’s not enough parking especially if you arrive later in the evening but paid parking is available. Would stay again.

This hotel was perfect and reasonable in cost for our arrival a day before our cruise. We arrived very early and paid a bit extra to be able to get into our room right away. The breakfast was a buffet and excellent. The desk clerk said it would be a 10 - 15 min walk to the famous church but it was further than that. There is an excellent restaurant a block from the hotel called the Reykjavik Kitchen.

location was very good, same for breakfast. friendly/ helpful staff. room a bit small, bathroom tiny and funky.

Our room was clean and on the top floor as requested, but, sadly the hotel has poor sound insulation so is very noisy.

Best thing was being able to check in 7 hours early after an overnight flight to Iceland, for a very reasonable extra charge. Front desk staff person on checkin especially helpful about area shops and eateries.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We arrived early morning and they stored our luggage and gave us directions for where we could grab something to eat and get started.We were thrilled to return to the hotel to get into our luggage and be told our room was ready early and we could check in--total life saver! It was an easy walk to restaurants and shopping, including a convenient 24 hour grocery. We were easily able to walk to all of the sights. You are practically across the street from one of the bus pick up points, stop #13. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fabulous--I loved all of the fresh baked breads every day. Our room was comfortable. The only suggestion I'd have would be to include a little shelf in the shower corner for toiletries and a proper hook on the door for hanging things. And it would be nice to have some in room USB ports to charge devices--make sure to bring your adapter if you are coming from outside Europe. But these are tiny things. We would definitely come back and stay here again!

Really clean rooms, great location with a 24 hour supermarket right around the corner. Bus stop for all airport drop offs and day trips right outside. We left our European travel adaptor on the bus one day and the reception even provided us with one during our stay- really helpful!

Staff at the hotel were fantastic.

This was an excellent stay, in a great location. The room was comfortable and the breakfast had plenty of variety. The only less positive point was that the wet room style of the bathroom meant wet feet to get to the sink after showering. The location was very convenient and walkable to the old city centre. The nearby restaurant Reykjavik Kitchen served a delicious dinner.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 days as our base lodging in Reykjavik. Free parking area. Close to the center, lots of shops and restaurants. We didn't do their breakfast so can't comment on it. Room is regular with comfortable bed, no A/C but its almost winter so we just opened the windows. No fridge but we just left our wines next to the window. Bathroom was in small size especially the shower, water pressure and temperature was on point. Service was good, as well communication with front desk very helpful.

Beds were comfortable. Bathroom was small but sufficient. Location was great. Staff was helpful. Parking was easy enough.

Two night stay whilst in Reykjavik. Warm clean room, but alas on the small side, but that's what you get for you money in Reykjavik. The outstanding breakfast buffet that was eat as much as you like helped make up for this.

Most times there was free parking but it was expensive the day the lot was full. An excellent location.
