All very good , except for the significant lack of availability of dinner on both nights of our stay, due, we were told, to very large event on both nights. We were not told of this until our arrival although it must have been known well in advance.
On the Sunday morning the drinks machines were breaking down and queue for cooked food was very long. The staff were over loaded and unable to resolve coffee machine problem. Chaotic.

This hotel is excellent for its free parking, super comfortable beds and pillows, cleanliness and the staff are so helpful and welcoming.

Lovely hotel. Nice and clean. Rooms a decent size. View of a roof but didn't effect our stay. Room only had a shower which was disappointing as the website says twin rooms have a bath/shower combination. Dined in the restaurant which was very good.

The staff very welcome, helpful and friendly. We stayed here 18 months ago and we did think it would be Good but one thing that has been taken away is the swimming pool which we were thinking would be nice in the mornings but no, pitty.

Ran out of strawberry jam for breakfast, plus had to wait for some cooked breakfast items being replaced when they had ran out. Otherwise, staff and the hotel itself was pretty spot on.

Made a complaint to reception about a loud machine / generator noise in the room throughout the night when the air con was turned off. Then the shower was boiling hot and did not respond to the temperature dial changes made . Loud noise coming from above shower which lead to resident banging on the door ! I recorded both noises and played to reception but they did t seem to believe me ! Apologised and let me leave.

staff were wonderful I was put in room 313 but after I turned off the tv I could here a noise coming from somewhere like an extractor fan but even with the time being 23:50 it was no trouble for them to find me a different room breakfast was great and at 6:30 down side for me was the mattress was just so hard even with me being over 15 stone it did not sink in one bit

No major complaints, room was great, shower base had some sort of stain not sure if that is normal or not. (don't think it would come out tbh unless replaced). Cleaners do a great job. Entrance into the car park is awful. Does require major resurfacing.

We've stayed at this Holiday Inn several times to break up long car journeys. The rooms are comfortable, there's free parking and a great breakfast! The staff in the bar and on breakfast are so nice and helpful and make the stay really pleasant.

The staff were great, the facilities clean however the bed was so uncomfortable it seemed to have a bar in it which made sleeping impossible. The dressing table area needs a mirror so it can be used for doing make up etc. as the light near the large mirror isn’t bright enough.

Room was great, apart from the hanging lights which were too low and kept banking your head on it.
The restaurant was a joke, slow service and cold food for dinner, breakfast was one of the worst buffet breakfast's I have ever experienced.

The staff were very nice especially in the restaurant but we won’t be going anymore we have been loads of times but we were very disappointed when we checked in to find out the swimming pool and spa are no longer available I’ve just lost my Mum and my husband said he wanted to take me there to relax and unwind after a very upsetting few weeks we didn’t realise they had decided to do away with these facilities 😞😢
