We just visit this hotel a stop destination after long driving. It was good to chose Karlsruhe and this hotel. It is located in very good distance from city centre and easy access to the rail station and buses.

It’s a good hotel, location is good. Pretty good to reach from the highway. Just think paying for the garage to park your car is overdoing it, price is high enough that the parking should be included

One night I got so drunk that I feel asleep in front of the bench that’s right outside the elevator doors of the 4th floor. I was in my underwear and had to go down to the lobby to get a card. The front desk guy didn’t make it awkward and didn’t laugh at me or freak out. Would definitely stay here again since the beds are comfortable and the bench wasn’t a bad place to sleep either.

I had already a bad feeling at arriving. Elevator parking was out of order...have to carry luggage upstairs to lobby. Breakfast 21 eur is exaggerated and not for for what you get ( no buffet because of corona) I can understand , but you can lower the price...the coffee is what I've had 50 years ago in the army. Not very welcoming staff and definitely not a 4 star

Modern hotel in a convenient location to the center of town and train station. However our room was very warm and the only way to cool it off was to open the windows. Unfortunately our room faced the street so lots of street noise disrupted our sleep.

Best place in the city center of Karlsruhe. Very nice hotel.

On arrival I wanted to upgrade my room and was told NO because I had booked via you. I wanted to entertain guests and put bar and restaurant charges on my room, avoiding cash transactions putting pressure on my guests. I was told NO as I had paid for the room in advance. Unhelpful and unfriendly.

Everything was customer oriented and well set up. A great comfort into this hotel.

Great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean room, quite area. Minor issues of temperature in gym being high and water cooler in gym needed replenishing.

The location of the Hotel is prime. Although the trams pass right by, I could walk to most of the places I needed to get to including from and back to the Bahnoft. The room and bath were spacious and clean. I asked for and got a single Queen Bed, not those puny mattresses they press together and separate as you lie on them giving an ineffective sleeping experience. There was a safety deposit box in the room and I was also pleased with the provision to make a cup of coffee. I didn't have problems with the internet. The hotel's greatest assets are its front desk staff who were very helpful, professional and pleasant. I was however a bit surprised that there was no iron in the room. Also, like most hotels these days, the duvet/cover was not wide or long enough. I simply cannot understand why the "traditional" covers which are wide and long enough for both single and double use are not provided any more! Also, on my first morning, the cleaning lady knocked on my door persistently at quite an early hour, opened my door and walked into the room. Although she could see clearly that I was still sleeping and I indicated that she should come back later, she insisted that she should do the cleaning. She really was not pleasant at all and I have to say that I became quite annoyed at this intrusion of my privacy and interruption of my rest.I did not opt for the Hotel's breakfast as there are several eating places nearby with excellent choices at less than half the cost.

This was my second stay at the Novotel Karlsruhe City. I love the style of the hotel and the rooms, the friendly staff as well. Breakfast buffet was wonderful. Although the hotel is situated wonderfully central, it is quiet. Only a few steps to the most important buildings and the Schlosspark. What I did not like so much this time, was that my room was not ready yet at 14:40 hrs and I had to wait till 15:05 hrs and get up and ask again (the lady at the reception did not care in the meantime). I know that hotel rooms are accessible as of 15:00 hrs, only - but I did not have the impression that the hotel was fully booked out and that there would have not been enough time to clean up that room before 15:00 hrs. I have never made such an experience in any hotel before - therefore only 4 points.

The rooms are very modern and clean. Internet is fast and reliable. It is also walking distance to the main train station and the palace as well as shopping.

Staffs are friendly, they warmly welcomed us. The room was clean and big enough for family. Since staff set up crib for our baby, baby could play the inside safely and sleep. The hotel location is also good. Walkable to Karlsruhe Palace and Marktplatz area, nice to go for shopping and eat. We could enjoy the stay.

Pleasant hotel for 1-night business stay. I've stayed here before and it fits the bill for business travel.

The tv only had two English stations. The room was hot and couldn’t get cooler without opening the windows, which just made the street noise louder. Finally, the free WiFi was incredibly slow and limited. Unless you pay extra nothing can really be used on it.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the room was light and comfortable, and breakfast was good. The underground car park was easy to find and use.
