Grossly overpriced very basic motel was not much of anything going on for it.

Very good budget hotel. It was clean and comfortable, quiet location, and friendly staff.

We have stayed multiple times. Decent place, but getting too expensive for what it is.We had trouble with the hair dryer and the front door lock,wasn’t working properly…

OK hotel

M the room was really clean and comfortable. I upgraded to a King and did not receive the upgrade. The remote on the TV did not work and the internet password was unavailable. I received a text to respond through text for any help. The text was replied to quickly saying they would fix our issues. I never received another text. So no internet and no TV. Disappointing for sure.

The staff is very friendly, and the room was clean. Breakfast is served in the mornings, and it is in a very convenient location right next to the Eel River Brewing Co., other restaurants and a gas station.

The property was clean and well kept. They had laundry on site.

We stay annually to visit family locally. It is fine but always a lot of workers that get up very early. The breakfast is very basic. The location to the Eel River Brewing Company to have dinner is why we stay. We will continue.

Great staffing. The breakfast area was a little cramped when there were more than 3 people in the room. They have a pancake maker!

Continental Breakfast had very few choices. Only one fruit choice, and only packaged muffins cinnamon buns. Nothing fresh. No toast option. Otherwise everything else about the property was excellent

Updated rooms and comfortable beds! Just wish the breakfast was a little better and had more options.

Way over priced for what one gets… but then again, it’s ’high season’… saving grace, it’s a great entry point (coming from North of Fortuna) for the amazing Avenue of the Giants!

Very clean and updated. Do not book for the breakfast included. It was cereal, yogurt, pancake machine or microwave oatmeal. This is not bad just not a breakfast. Book it for the cleanliness

It said it slept 5 but it only slept 4. There was no option for air conditioning.

Staff went over and above when I left my things in the hotel room to help get them back to me.

Our stay was perfect except that the air conditioner kept turning off. Never figured that one out and should have asked at the front desk. The room was very clean and neat, the amenities were very good, the pre-check in and check-in was very fast, and the staff were very friendly. We felt safe there and it was a convenient location.

Check in and out was fast, receptionist was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and large. Quiet area, didn’t even hear noise in next rooms or doors opening/closing. Right off the freeway.

The price was right. I was a little concerned staying at a Super 8. However, this one is comfortable, clean, updated and in a nice area.

We stayed one night. Our last night of our road trip. Perfect for a night's sleep but there's nothing around to explore. There's a restaurant within walking distance and a small park. But if all you need is sleep then it works. Staff was friendly. Room was clean. Bed was not the most comfortable but for one night it was fine. Breakfast was very minimal, good for a little snack before getting on the road again.

Overall a decent stay. Staff was kind and accommodating - the night clerk was so kind as to offer to help us carry up our tote cart since there is no elevator on premises. Our room was clean and quiet. The left side of the platform bed was actually broken, and so when my husband (average sized) laid down on it the bed gave way in the middle. This must be a two partition platform bed because my side was fine and, from the right side of the mattress, I was noticeably higher than him when I laid down. It wasn’t so terrible so he decided to stick with it, and he slept okay (we were exhausted), but it should be repaired (Room 213). Also, for those for whom breakfast is important: there are only high sugar options for breakfast - pancakes, pastries, cereals (all high sugar options). That was a bit of a disappointment (no protein except the little found in flavored/sugary yogurts). I didn’t see any boiled eggs, which would have been a reasonable protein option. If you want a breakfast that will hold you longer than a sugar high provides, you will want to make other arrangements.

It was nice and clean room. But horrible breakfast that I ever had.

Extremely clean pleasant stay. Lovely woman greeting assisting us at check-in. The room exactly what was needed after an over five hour drive, clean, fresh, comfortable with room to relax.

This hotel is good for a roadtrip. I've stayed here twice without issue, it's well maintained with friendly staff.

Easily found, accessible options

We are on a bicycling down the coast. Britnie checked us in who initially assigned us a room on the second floor. I happen to mention that we do not mind lugging the bikes and gear up the second floor. She then insisted she did not mind changing rooms to the first floor. We appreciated her making it easier for us. She provided exceptional customer service; friendly and very accommodating. Thank you, Britnie!

Fortuna is quiet and mellow and very close to the Redwoods. A much better choice than larger areas nearby. It's next door to a microbrewery restaurant that we didn't have time to enjoy on this visit but was definitely a plus. The hotel staff was delightful and helpful and had many recommendations for things to see in the area.

Nice one night stay in Fortuna on our road trip. Beds were comfortable, room was clean and staff were friendly. Environment was quiet.

The lady at check in was AWESOME Great experience at this hotel. Highly recommend
