The location and the atmosphere of the location is great, but just like every other hotel we are getting less service at a higher rate. There is no linen change for a multiple night stay, no complimentary bottle water in the rooms, no complimentary parking for hotel guest nor is there complimentary breakfast. I don't understand how a lesser valued hotel offers complimentary breakfast to it's patrons and the more costly hotels offer no complimentary anything at a ridiculous rate. It's price gouging at it's finest!!! An the patron suffers.

Be aware that you're downtown Detroit and it is noisy! The windows aren't double glazed and don't offer any sound protection. The hotel itself was good, the staff at the front desk was very nice. $50 to pay to park seemed very steep as there weren't any other overnight options (they told us).

Staff was really nice and helpful. I read the reviews so I knew that the parking situation wasn’t ideal but knowing ahead of time was key. Rooms were clean. Beds were good. Shower was great. It was better than expected stay here and it is so close to all the venues.

In town just one night for a baseball game. This hotel is in a great location for walking to Comerica. However, it is very worn down. Fortunately, it was pretty clean. Long lines at the front desk that took forever for both check-in and getting valet ticket stamped. The staff seemed to be doing their best and were pleasant. The valet was very helpful and nice.

Great location. Close to all downtown sites and easy walking distance to Greektown and the river front. The People Mover is so close. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Jedalyn for being a star!

The first handicap accessible room we were placed in had an in-tub shower with no slip guards and a commode that was so short my sister needed help getting up and she is 4’10”. We were moved to a truly accessible room but the refrigerator didn’t cool and the electric blind was broken. Maintenance came and put it down, and it remained that way throughout our visit. The staff was not well trained except for a maintenance person who had only been on staff a week.

This hotel is secure. That was important for me, traveling with minor children. After 10pm you have to use your room key to gain access to the budiling, also to use the elevator you have to have a room key. Loved it! Hotel is in a great location and there is a lot of restaurants to choose from that is walkable to and from the hotel. My dislike was the cost for valet and the cost for the overnight parking in the lot across the street. The valet was $50 a night. The lot across the street was $30 per night. The mini fridge in my particular room was warm and the knob to adjust the fridge was gone/broken. Other than that i would stay again.
