We had a fantastic stay at Altis Grand. The staff were very friendly and responded quick to all my queries. The air conditioning in my room was not working, it was taken care as soon as I highlighted at the front desk. The rooms were very clean. The pool and jacuzzi was fantastic. All the main Lisbon attractions were at walking distance. Would definitely come back and also recommend it.

Charged us for duplicate booking through Expedia and told us to talk to them. We have talked to Expedia and so far after 3 calls the hotel is stonewalling Expedia and refusing a refund.

We have just checked out of the hotel today after a 5-night stay. The service at the reception was excellent, and the rooms were beautiful and clean (at the beginning of our stay). However, after only 2 nights, the cleaning of the room started to decline. Our bed linen was not changed for the last 3 nights, and we did not receive fresh towels, bathrobes, or toiletries, which forced us to contact the reception to request them. If this issue had occurred for just 1 night, it would have been acceptable, but when it affects 3 out of 5 nights, it is very unsatisfactory. It simply cannot be right that we had to approach the reception every evening to get the missing items; things should just work seamlessly instead. We are therefore quite disappointed with the overall stay due to this cleaning issue.

Very nice hotel

people are not good at service for a supposed hotel of "luxury", the guest service persons doesn't even smile and are like "tired" to be asked questions. We found a alive cockroach in the bathroom. They changed us rooms but all the cleaning wasn't the best.

As a family of 3, we stayed here for one week in Aug in a double room with extra bed and breakfast. From the moment we arrived, we felt like VIPs - the service is outstanding across the board and staff are always super friendly and accommodating. We got our bags taken up to our room, welcome drinks upon arrival, chocolates the next day and best of all, for our son's 10 year birthday, we got drinks and a birthday cake! We didn't mention he had a birthday, the hotel noticed this themselves! We loved our stay and would highly recommend this hotel (or any Altis hotel if this is the standard). The hotel is very comfortable and of a high standard throughout. We enjoyed our dinner in the Bistro, very tasty and, again, great service. The St Jorge bar is very plush and sitting on the balcony was very relaxing. We used the pool and spa area every day - mornings were a bit quieter, though the jacuzzi warms up more in the afternoon. The mezzanine area is a nice quiet area to sit and wait for your room to be cleaned. Practically, there are lots of places nearby within walking distance to get snacks, drinks and meals. There are 2 Metro stops within 10 mins walk also. Loved this hotel!

This might be me being picky but as being a regular visitor for 5* hotels the Altis grand is lacking some small details to give it that 5* feel. Pro: Super friendly and helpful staff. 5* service. 5* location. Couldn’t be any better. Baby friendly. Provided a cot free of charge. Has parking all be it with a fee. Cons: Needs a refresh. I’m sure this hotel looked and felt 5* when it opened but does not seem to have had any work done to it since. The whole place is very dated. The room was a good size but had light that wasn’t working and the bathroom amenities were poor. Toilet paper that’s thinner than anything you’d find in public and shower Amenities provided on a wall pump. These small details could bring it up to 5* feel.

What a gorgeous hotel! It couldn’t be more perfect. The location was incredible. Everything was so clean and everyone was so friendly. The receptionists were lovely. I also left a note to say we were there celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday and they did everything they could to make him feel special. 10/10 hotel couldn’t recommend more!

Stayed for five nights for a short city break and my 50th birthday. Check in was quick and efficient with (Pedro) then a member of Guest Relations team(Filipa) my apologies if I didn’t get Filipa name correctly. She took us to our room and showed us how things worked and what was available like spa, swimming pool, jacuzzi, etc. On the day of my birthday, I was very surprised to see a bottle of bubble, cake and a hand written birthday card - this was a lovely and personal touch. Thank you! The room was spacious and there was water, tea and coffee provided. The bathroom was lovely, with very good toiletries. I work for a big corporation in the U.K and we arrange big events all over the world. From my personal experience, this is a really well managed hotel which is so important when you are organising a big events and I look forward to organise a corporate event at Altis Grand Hotel. The hotel is not only very comfortable, but every member of staff I had contact with whether in the bar, at the welcome desk, the garden roof bar, everyone went above and beyond in customer service. The hotel is very well situated, close to metro station, shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very good and staffing were professional and polite. We will definitely come back on a short city break also corporate visits to Altis Grand Hotel and we highly recommend!

The property was very clean, the staff pleasant and very helpful. The location was central to transportation and good food and walking distance to a few sites. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the hotel.

Great for families. The first hotel I've ever stayed in that actually had crib-sized pillows and blankets for kids - usually it's just an adult sized sheet folded up which is not ideal. Breakfast buffet had great selections. The 12th floor bar had excellent cocktails and great service all around. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was outdated and small. It was no iron in room we had to ask four times until they bring it.
