Had to ask for plates and cutlery for our room. Air conditioner hard to get working.

That hot water tap kept coming off the wall in the shower. The shower head was extremely low. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom.

I didnt like the fact that somebody else parked in my car spot so i had to park in the street.

All good , comfortable bed, hot shower and kettle for a cuppa and heater to warm the room. More than lots of people in the world

Position for public transport is fantastic, Just needs a bit more upgrading.

Paid for 3 beds for 2 nights, but only supplied 2 cups & spoons (no forks or dinner plates). Room service came on day 2 and replaced our towels (but forgot face washers) and didnt replace our coffee cups and spoons, so had to wash in the bathroom sink. Shower had pink mould in grout, walls had dirty marks everywhere, had to play the TV volume so low you could barely hear coz it had a very annoying buzz when turned up. Service was friendly.

It was a nice place to stay

We got what we payed for. The room was old looking, stained walls, table was come loose from the wall, old furniture, nothing updated. It was terribly noisy from the street traffic. Wouldn't recommend if you have a higher budget.

I arrived on the property at 10pm. They didn't answer my calls and I was not able to check in. I had to sleep in my car last night as it was too late to arrange alternative accommodation. Terrible experience

It’s worth the budget price !

Only 2 pillows …. The wall had some sort of fluid marks on it, the hand basin was chipped. Cold water dripped, the 3 steps down to get to room 22 very very unsafe and dangerous … no hand rail, no yellow lines saying it was a hazard, no blanket only covers, the heater needs to have the filter cleaned as the air coming out was revolting … all in all, terrible stay, terribly room … we did ask for our money back but we’re refused …. We were told we had used the room, there for we had to pay for it! Never ever again. No parking outside your actual room, we had to find a park down the dude. No one in office! Christmas decorations still displayed on reception including a Christmas tree! Disgusting…. Absolutising disgusting….. need to Get clean cleaners! Wil ge reporting you to SA health

Comfortable & convenient

The property is old and dated and needs major works done. It is NOT reflective of the photos shown online. We virtually hurtled downhill into our bathroom, the floors were so uneven. There was major cracking to the interior walls. Cleanliness both in and out of the room left a lot to be desired. There was no doona on our bed but rather a mattress protector under a thin bedspread. Shower good and bed itself comfortable. No bedside tables or bedside lamps. No sheer curtain so we couldn't open our curtains and have privacy. No allocated parking so if all the parking outside your room is taken, you have to cart all your stuff across the carpark. Staff uninterested in this fact. Staff unprofessional. Reception doesn't open till 9am which is unusual for a motel. Staff member arrived to open reception wearing gym clothes and headphones, no uniform. No information compendium in the rooms. There is still a Christmas tree and decorations up in the foyer in April. Accommodated an extra night for us with no problems but much work needs to be done.

Jackson inn was absolutely disgusting. We arrived staff was very unprofessional. When we went to the room and it's smelled like mould and cigarette smoke. Rust was on the wall from the air conditioning unit. And the room was so dirty. We asked for our money back because the pictures on Expedia are not what the hotel is like in real life. Hotel should be closed down due to health and safety. We had to leave and book another place and now out off pocket over 2000 dollar.

Jacksons Motor Inn was a good budget option for a short stay. Right on the fringe of the city as you drive in. Rooms were basic but fine. Everything in the room worked, the beds were comfortable, shower was hot and the price was keen. Very easy short drive to the CBD.

Our car got stolen. And a neighbour said it's happened before. Across the highway it's a very rich area though. There was a lot of people walking around that looked dangerous or on drugs and I would never stay here again.

Good value clean rooms. Generally motel needs a good paint and bathroom door very hard to open and shut Curtains need adjusting to fit window

The Pool was the highlight. Very clean and well looked after. Staff were extremely friendly.

Musty and run down, air conditioner full of mould. In serious need of some renvations. If had have veiwed prior would not have booked. On the positive, the staff were very freindly and helpful!

Easy to get to from city and in a quiet area would have liked a tea towel to dry dishes with and an extra blanket otherwise great place

Totally appalling, from check in to room allocated. Room was run down, third world condition. Dirty and unpleasant. Nothing was nice about this accommodation or the staff. Had noisy neighbours on both sides of my room, couldn’t change rooms either and staff didn’t care. Would not recommend anyone to stay here. Photos on Wotif did not resemble the room I received. Disgusting!!!

room is a good size and clean..staff all friendly..my room did have some cigarette smoke odor but otherwise it was all good

The room was outdated, air conditioner worked but had no blades so the cold air was directly on us all night. There was a constant ’droning’ sound all night (air con I think) and the motel is on a major road into Adelaide so traffic noise pretty much all night. In the bathroom there was hand soap but shampoo or conditioner available. Sink was significantly crack and exhaust fan completely covered in dust. First day were we there, didnt have the ‘do not distrub’ sign on the door. Room service lady, knocked on door and said Housekeeping. We yelled out ‘hang on a minute’ as we had not long woken up / partner was getting dressed. The lady used the key to come in. I was sitting on the bed, having my breakfast and she came then emptied the bin before leaving, I was quite uncomfortable. Im a country person, I don't go to the capital cities that often. I don’t remember reading there was a room key deposit required. It would have helped to know that before arriving. Plus the room key deposit has not be refunded as yet and it is 1 1/2 days since we checked out yesterday morning. I dont think we would stay there next time in Adelaide.

Shower was very low pressure and handle kept coming off. Floor was crawling with ants overnight, we were downgraded to a dingy, outdated room with no hot tub, as the room we paid for has the spa 'out of order'. Air con light very bright when trying to sleep. Lucky it was cheap, will not be returning.
