Great hotel for the money

Very clean, comfortable small hotel in a great location. Staff at reception extremely friendly and helpful. Nothing fancy but great value for money.

Check-in was good and front desk staff fairly friendly. House keeping ladies were friendly but… the cleaning was sub par. One pet peeve I have with any hotel is the bathroom cleanliness. The shower stall was full of black mould in the silicone seals and grout. The was also red mould (the juvenile black mould) forming around the hot/cold water handles and faucet’s as well as the shower head. Perhaps this was isolated but I suspect this was not the only room with this issue. This is really unacceptable. The double bed was hard and unforgiving as well as the single pillow. Again, unacceptable for a room for two people. The breakfast was OK as it was stated that this was a continental breakfast. The hotel front desk staff were also tasked with making coffee and tea while still manning the phones and front desk. This is a poor management decision in my opinion. The only saving grace is the hotel is centrally located close the the main train station. The $67 a night including taxes perhaps, says it all. Unfortunately, much improvement is need before I can in faith, recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really lovely hotel, very friendly and helpful staff. Very convenient local for visiting the centre. Paid parking, but very secure and direct access to rooms via a lift. Very clean everywhere. Comfie bed, great shower. Buffet breakfast. Good range of food.

Pros: - Very clean (except for dust bunnies under the bed) - Service was cheery and helpful - Coffee was very good (and we're picky) - Water in the shower was wonderfully hot and didn't vary in temperature--and the showerhead was fantastic Cons: - Street Noise! Luckily since we went off-season it was primarily the white noise of traffic, but voices were loud too. Closing the windows made it hot in the room...so we learned to cool the room, and then close the windows to sleep so the noise wouldn't be so loud. - No hot food for breakfast - only cold items - except there was a toaster for the bread. - The beds were a bit hard, although not so bad we couldn't sleep. Would we stay there again? If the price was right - Yes. It was close to the train and bus stations, so getting in and out of Oviedo was super-easy. It was a bit of a hike to get to the center of town and attractions, but not a show-stopper. Since we got a great price for the room, we feel the cons were not that bad.

The breakfast was really well presented with lots of choice, the place is spotless and welcoming. The rooms are basic but really clean and plenty of space to walk round. The location if perfect for travellers as it’s close to the bus and train networks or if you’re just wanting to explore. We would definitely stay here again.

Short overnight en route to Arenas. Perfect location for the bus station we needed and some great places to eat. A ten minute walk to the old town. Hotel was ideal for our needs and continental breakfast included.

The hotels in a really convenient location 5 mins walk from both bus and train stations and about 15 mins walk from old city centre. The staff are friendly and helpful and the room was large and clean. Also a really good greengrocer (a kilo of juicy nectarines for 1 euro) and cafe about 30 seconds away. What more could you want?

Affordable basic hotel with clean rooms and friendly staff. Breakfast was ok but coffee excellent. Perfect location as bus and train stations were within walking distance. Suggestions :Shower gel would be nice instead of the thin bar of soap.Safe in the room for valuables.
