The hotel was OK, no complaints other than it's fairly old and the front facade was actually made of scaffolding. But our stay was good and the staff were friendly and provided good service.

The stay was good, my only issue is I reserved a king room but got a double bed. This is an issue I have been having when reserving. The king rooms are all booked all they have is double bed rooms

The hotel and room were a bit outdated, but it was clean and everything was in working order. The hotel staff really made the difference with our stay. The staff at the front desk were SO kind at both check in and check out and really made me feel taken care of!

We stayed during Thanksgiving week. The hotel was average. The service was average. However, I marked down for cleanliness because the lobby, hall ways, and front entrance always smell like cigarette smoke which was overwhelming and unsanitary. I could barely breath. My other complaint are the pillows and mattress. My neck and back were killing me every day when I woke up. Otherwise it was average. The location was good for what we wanted. It was very close to the empire state bldg, Macy's, rockfeller center, madison square garden, summit one, times square, hersheys, etc. We were not close enough to walk to the stautue of liberty or central park (40 min walk). Whereas everything else was a 7-15 minute walk. We ubered to chelsea market and china town.

I have come to NY for work many times, but never have I stayed at a place that was so attentive to its guests. The rooms are fair (but large), but the staff and service is exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

You can tell a lot about a person's attitude in only a few seconds - so even though my interactions with staff were brief, everyone had a nice or at least neutral demeanor.
The room was a good size and the bathroom large enough for 2 people to get ready at the same time. Everything was as clean as expected.
We needed to use the baggage holding service and I appreciate that there is dedicated staff for that. I didn't feel any particular cause for concern, but in general, theft is opportunistic so I also liked that the luggage room is inaccessible to random people coming into the hotel.

Great location. Friendly desk and maid service. Wall AC unit was filthy and louder than an airplane. Fortunately, it was cool enough to open window. But then traffic and sirens are really loud. Then again, sliding window doesn’t seal properly, so it is loud regardless. Smoke detector was wrapped in plastic (pretty sure that is a violation).

Moe, the front desk clerk who checked us in was awesome! Super friendly and welcoming. Stayed on the 18th floor and the view was just OK. The air conditioner leaked on the floor, but was fixed when I informed the front desk. Great location and within walking distance for all the things we wanted to do.

Average hotel. Good location and very close to subway station. Continental breakfast was included in our tariff. No hot breakfast buffet was available. Only a la carte.

Its my third time staying in this hotel,
I love the location, and the staff are very nice.
But frankly I was deeply disappointed from the situation of the room. the paint was chipped on the doors , the carpet had stains on them, and looked like they are ready to be replaced.
The A/C unit in the room was very noisy.
Our room was at the end of the hallway , but at night we could hear any sound that was made in the hallway, i assume the sound proofing of walls and doors wasn't done.
I would expect the room to be in good condition especially when you charge soo much.
In general it feels that the room was runed down, and over priced.
last but not least is the hotels breakfast, i booked the room including breakfast, and once you arrive to the lobby for breakfast we where sit in place and after eating we have been given a bill, i noted that our booking was including breakfast , the staff said no problem, its just for inner calculation with the hotel. and the bill doesn't include tip.
first thing i travel a lot around the world, and giving a bill to someone who already paid is really not common, and tipping the staff at the breakfast area, also not common.
in General it made us feel really strange, and we would Defiantly think again before booking this hotel next visit.

The first room I got had a running toilet and the sink was clogged. It also had the plaster peeling from the toilet, bathtub, ceiling, etc. The next room didn't have the water issues, but also had peeling plaster. The room didn't feel clean. The comforter was old and ratty - even had holes in it. The staff was nice, but nothing exceptional. Very average hotel.

It’s a decent hotel. The location is great because it’s in midtown and easy to access the rest of the city. However, it is very out of date and needs some remodeling and TLC.

This hotel was run-down and dated. Our bathroom door didn't close, there were buttons missing in the elevator, the bedding and carpet were old. We stay in a lot of Hiltons and this was maybe the worst we have stayed in.

Not good , we were not able to turn on shower it was with great difficulty. Called front desk no one showed up. Bathroom faucet was wobbly. We had to leave the water running for next person to shower due to great difficulty to turn on

The Hotel was good. No safe box in the room. It was and inconvenience for us because we did not want to leave our valuable in the front desk. The rooms are ok, clean but not a lot of light, There is a lot of noise from the outside and from within the hotel. The location is very good.

Our stay was great- the front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and ready for us when we arrived 3 hours before check in. Obviously this is an older hotel and you could tell there was some wear- one of the elevators made some funky noises and there was no vent in the bathroom so it got very humid very quickly. But the beds were comfy, the AC worked great, there was daily housekeeping, and there was a fabulous deli around the corner that made an excellent bagel for breakfast. I’d definitely stay here again.

Having to pay $27 22,before I left, yet before it was zero, Rip Off, just cos I moved rooms then breakfast is is included, have a good word with the man in the green top, Not over keen on the area, but I was grateful to Emanuel who picked me up from a local pub.
He should have known that my meals were included with the room, Not Happy.

We really loved the staff workng in the morning breakfast, they were very nice, taken care of us every day and gave us wonderful advice about places.

Was close to everything. Lots of great things to see in walking distance and subways everywhere. Easy check in, great staff and good sized room which is equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Stayed two nights
