Very nice staff and environment is quiet and friendly. The king size room is a little smaller than my expectation and it could do better with some bigger pillows. Overall they score 4 out of for comfort.

Check in was quick and desk clerk was very pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the ladies were very friendly and helpful!

The cleanest hotel in Elizabeth City, NC. It’s always sold out because all the other locations have bed bugs or just dirty and nasty.
The Fairfield Inn believes in cleanliness. The staff is very friendly and the complimentary breakfast is always hot and GOOD. Large variety of options as well.
The area has walkable sightings; IHOP, 3 Amigos, Luxury Movie Theater. Walmart SuperCenter and plaza mall about 3 minutes up rte. 17, ECSU 5 mins away, UPS center 4mins away (open on Sundays!!)

Bathroom was not very clean. Old dirty cup was left under the sink area. Shampoo bottles had fallen off the wall and left to sit on the tub. The placement of them in the shower is horrible. I can see why they have been knocked off the wall. Breakfast was good and staff was very nice.

The hotel and staff was very good, the room was nice and new. Location was also excellent and the Mexican Restaurant next door was a great option. Our only complaint was we did not know we had to request to have our room cleaned, we were out the entire day and returned to a uncleaned room with no new towels. If we had known we would have at least hung up our towels to use the following day. The night staff provided us with new towels and said its been this way since covid. I think it should be posted in the room somewhere that if you are staying more than one night you have to request housekeeping to tidy up the room and provide additional towels. But for the most part this was an excellent hotel.

The door to the room handle stuck A LOT. Everything else was good though they tried to chage me 19.95 X 2days for my wifi in my room that upset me. I quickly had them remove the wifi charge.

The location is perfect. Close to shopping and restaurants but far enough from the hwy to keep the noise level down. A movie theater within walking distance. The staff are wonderful and breakfast is always great.

The walls are "paper thin" and conversations could be heard on both sides of our room which was very distracting. The floors in the room were terrible, we tried removing some of the filth but appears someone may have waxed over dirty areas along the baseboards. This made the bathroom appear very unclean.
