Very convenient to the Acropolis, shops and cafes. Dated but clean. The bed was very hard however.

Chosen for its location and price it did not disappoint. Absolutely close to everything we needed. Breakfast sparse but sufficient.

Location is very good and the restaurants and bars in the nearby square are very good. 5 minutes walk to the Akropolis station with good links around the city. The hotel itself was not great, the staff were very helpful, but the facilities were poor. Bed was rock hard, room smaller than anticipated, the photos of the rooms are not accurate, ours had a photo of the Acropolis from the balcony, not true, none of the rooms faced that way, building yes Acropolis no, although you had a great view from the rooftop. On a small note, we were given a kettle and 2 cups, that was all!!!, now I'm sure we good have got teabags and coffee if we asked but why were they not there initially???.

Property is in a walkable and safe area of old Athens. Archeological sites are within easy walking distance as well as restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again.

We loved our stay at the quaint Adam's Hotel. The location was fantastic - everywhere was within easy and pleasant walking distance. The staff was very pleasant - we would definitely stay there again.

The Adams Hotel is centrally located by the shopping center and restaurants in Plaka. I highly recommend this area to those who want to visit other places nearby such as the Acropolis and the museum, Monastiraki square, and Varvakios Market.

Great value for money! Loved our stay here as there was lots of room for our family, the breakfast in the morning was great and the location could not be beat. Would definitely stay here again if I make it back to Athens!

Poor sound insulation. Can hear conversations next door and in hallway. Tv and remote did not work. Decent value for price otherwise

We had to change room due to very old AC unit not working . Could only get room to 76 degrees to hit for sleeping

Excellent location. Clean hotel. Rooms small but manageable however bathrooms were very awkwardly set up. Breakfast buffet was good with more than enough to choose from.

We communicated with the hotel about our flight being delayed and they replied about waiting for us to check in which was reassuring and got us into our rooms at 2 AM. Breakfast was fantastic and relaxed. The area around the hotel was fun with shopping, restaurants and easy access to historical sites. The staff was friendly and competent. Thank you, Adams Hotel.

Basic but very comfortable and very clean, great location.

The room (and i believe whole hotel) was supposed to be nonsmoking, but when I got there, my room smelled like an ashtray, bed, towels, curtains, etc. There was also an ashtray in the room, so it probably shouldnt have been listed as "nonsmoking." It was also dirty, with mold all over the bathroom, only a single sheet on the bed so it was freezing. Lastly, while some staff clearly knew what was going on, the guy at check in told me to use the elevator, which later On the upper floors it had labels not to use the elevators because people were getting stuck inside. That seemed like a fire hazard in addition to the locking doors to get in and out without a lot of guidance on how to get out (it was a small silver button to the side of the door), also a fire hazard.

The view was prefect and the walking distance was perfect. You don’t need a car at all everything that you needed was a in walking distance the Adams Hotel was nice and safe they had security door that means you had to key in a code to go in the hotel without the code you won’t get in the hotel. The room was big enough for family of four but the complaint was the bathroom was small and the beds was hard. There was breakfast on cite. I do recommend the restaurant Mythos it was so good my kids had Greek salad French fries stuff grape leaves octopus and cod fish with garlic sauce and vegetables and lots of fresh bread. The price was reasonable.

The hotel location is excellent, with a partial view of the Acropolis. The manager Mike went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed. He even gave us a wakeup call even though we did not request one, just to ensure we didn't miss our early flight!!

Nice and safe location, right by the cafes and bars, and a few minutes walk to Acropolis or the natural gardens. Quite a standard hotel, but nice enough room with a little balcony.

A small hotel in a nice part of the Plaka. There is group of benches just outside adjacent to a small espresso stand that the locals gather. It's fifty steps from a group of charming outdoor restaurants and the Acropolis is pithing walking distance. Nothing fancy, just nice.

The room was a bit small for the 4 of us but it was decent for the price. Really good location, very good breakfast

When my husband and I checked in, the front desk clerk gave us the only room on the ground floor. The room was dark and only had two very narrow windows that were opaque and could not be seen through. After complaining about the room persistently, the clerk finally was able to come up with another room. This room was bright and had glass doors leading to a little patio. However, the air conditioning did not work properly and my we found the room sweltering when we returned to our room the first night. When we complained to the night clerk, he lectured us about using the remote control incorrectly. This is absurd since we have a similar heating and cooling system at home. We followed the instructions the next day - again without success. The bottom line is that the system does not work properly. My husband and I DO NOT recommend this hotel.

The Adams Hotel is a 3 minute walk to entrance to the Acropolis. The service at the hotel was great. There was a good of items for breakfast. We loved the night time of the Acropolis on the rooftop terrace. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Our room had a partial view of the Acropolis, which was nice. If we were allowed to go to the roof for the view in the pic we had no idea you could do that. The breakfast was the standard Athens fare. The room was big enough with a good size bathroom and a little tiny two person elevator for those who can’t do stairs. The location was very good if you like the Plaka area.

Location was amazing right in the heart of Plaka and easy to walk to main sites in Athens. Rooftop has a great view of the Acropolis. Would stay here again!

Wonderful location . The staff were outstanding. Double bed is two singles pushed together and hard. Tiny shower. I would still stay there again for the location and staff.

nice hotel, great roof top with acropolis views for hanging out and having a beer after walking around all day. Rooms have A/C, small porch, very basic mattress but good enough for the price. within walking distance of just about everything. lots of shopping and places to eat nearby, Plaka is a nice place to stay when in Athens. Did not purchase breakfast thru hotel, it starts at 8am if you do, not much open in the area before 730 either. great hotel for the price if you plan on spending the days seeing the sights and walking around athens.
