Loved it

We had a nice stay at the hotel. Beds were comfortable, shower was good, and the breakfast was really good with a lot of options. The staff were really friendly! The one downside is the pool was very cold, so don’t plan on swimming outside of summer time!

The hotel is directly across the street from the lake and convenient to the town centre's shops and restaurants. The facility itself could use updating, including the installation of an elevator, but rooms were otherwise very clean.

The property is in a great location by the waterfront. It is a bit dated but in decent condition. There isn’t an elevator, however, there is staff to help carry luggage to room. We had dinner at the hotel one night and the food was great. Breakfast buffet was ok— probably typical quality of a small town hotel.

The location is very good. The building is old but acceptable.

Even my room was not lake view, it took me only 2 mins to walk outside to enjoy the nice lake view. Room was big and clean.

The hotel was ok but was a bit outdated. There were only 5 channels on TV. The breakfast was great.

The villas are bigger but they are a little bit far from the hotel so we requested to change it to a room with a lake view and we loved it!! I would definitely come back!!!

Great breakfast buffet. Nicely sized room. Beautiful grounds, especially roses! Disappointing WiFi, especially in the evening. Minimal room service (neglected bed completely; had to call maids back to fill coffee/tea box).

The service is equal to a 5-star luxury hotel. The state of the hotel a bit less, since it’s a dated building. However, overall it’s a great place to stay - really recommended!!!

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were on the older side, no A/C available. We were on the bottom floor and there was one small transom window to be able to leave open overnight. The food was very good in the restaurant and proximity to town and the lake was excellent.

We loved the comfort of the room, the quality of the beds and sheets and pillows. After getting really cold and wet in a kayak, those things matter. Location excellent. Only one BIG suggestion: real coffee in the morning. It tasted like instant coffee. And lemon for the tea! Thank you.

Nice villa, but the bathroom was in need of renovation. Pool and barbecue area and pathways were not very welcoming (concrete). Good breakfast. Good location.

We stayed in a garden villa and it was really old and outdated. It's nice and spacious and clean but that's the only positive. The windows looked straight out onto the footpath so you had no privacy if you wanted natural sunlight. There were cool white lights in the lounge room, warm white lights in the bedroom. Light above one side of the bed was blown. Very old TVs, no aircon, a shower tap system that I've never seen before! Separate hot and cold taps over the sink was very odd. Some photos of the rooms have glass showers but ours was an old cubical with shower curtain.The bed was so springy and soft, the 2 nights we stayed we both slept poorly. The location is great for visiting milford sound and the customer service was great too- we rang a few times and staff were friendly and responsive. Unfortunately I wouldn't stay here again unless they renovated the complex.

Such a wonderful hotel with a fantastic view. Clean and cosy.

The lake was within walking distance and the apartments were quiet & clean. Surprised that the apartment had modern bathroom

Amazing place!

Although the beds were comfy, the hotel room was incredibly outdated and the cleaning products used during the cleaning were so strong it left a really pungent perfume smell. The staff were friendly, and the place was relatively clean.

The room is clean and spacious, the mattress are very comfortable, the view is good as well

Rooms and decore are a little dated. Still using actual keys with room number on key ring. The bathroom is terrible at disbursing the steam from the shower. Wifi was slow.Great location to lake and town.

Close proximity to town centre but hotel is old and tired, has no air conditioner, toilet flush is extremely difficult to push each time we use the toilet, provided only one small tube of bath gel when there are 3 of us staying In the room.

I liked the staff - they were friendly and accommodating. The young bar tender especially was very helpful

Guest laundry was a huge convenience. Staff were friendly.

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable villa and was nice to have space with 2 kids. Could do with a comfy couch.
