Little Property nice pool walkable to any destination and shopping. Needs a little up keep but nice overall

nice place,good location--,sturbucks two minutes walking distance ,beach 5 min,money exchange and bank across the street,45$ for 4 per night,good maxican restaurans around,No problems at all. Book your room and enjoy beauty of Mexico ,, forget about prices in miami and key west

Colorful hotel centrally located in the heart of Playa del Carmen. 3 min walk to beach,5th Avenida, all sorts of restaurants, bars, cafes and all the town has to offer. Check in was speedy and efficient. Rooms are clean, spacious and fairly price. Not a 5 star palace, but pleasant place to stay.

Excellent location. A little bit run down, but nice. I would come again.

Overall good stay! Hotel is a nice budget option located in central Playa del Carmen 2 minute walk from the beach and a wide range of restaurants, bars, shops all right outside. Room was comfortable and clean.

Beautiful place to stay

The hotel has unsurpassable charm, it's a true gem. Unfortunately out a/c was overrun with mold this we couldn't use it without filling our room with strong mold smell, and we never had hot water for morning showers. Otherwise LOVED this hotel👌

Great stay. The hotel is very colorful and nice. Very close to 5th Ave with all stores. The beach is couple of minutes of walk. Next to CocoBongo which is a pick up spot for all tours. Room is clean with shower. Pool is awesome.

Great location!!! Friendly staff! Property looks amazing from the outside, not the same on the inside. Rooms/bathroom are rundown and not maintained. Needs major modernizing. For the money, you can't go wrong.

It was a perfect hotel for our needs. Simple, clean, superb personnel, safe, very convenient location. We would happily stay there again!

Location is great , in the middle of the center. near the coco bongo , you can hear music at night but we coped with it . Beds were not comfortable , hard mattresses . Bathroom had a weird smell .

We have stayed at this hotel for a few years now as my husband and I go every year. We have always had pleasant experiences and the staff has always been friendly. This is when we invited a few friends to come with us, we were so embarrassed and disappointed in the property. one room's ac was not working, when we reported it. They asked if we were doing it right. The office personnel had an attitude every time we went up there to complain or ask about something. Our showers had almost no cold water.... Crazy to say right but all we really had was scotching hot water. One room did not have a fridge but all other of our friends/rooms had one. When they asked if they could be moved to one with a fridge their answer was we don't have any more. We were so disappointed that after years of raving that it wasn't the same this year which is most likely from the management change they were through. I have loved the location of being close to just about everything. I'm not sure where we'll stay in 2023. When i asked the front desk girl to please print out a 6 papers per room as we had 4 rooms she said that was alot and she would have to charge me $1 peso per paper. The paperwork was a form we had to fill out for our departure that we received from the airline. WORST customer service ever. The only person that was still friend and greeted us as each year was the man that watches the front lobby area after hours at the entrance gate.

This is a great place if you don’t plan on staying in your room much. There were no blankets only a sheet, no wash cloths, one towel per person, no hand towels, we had a critter friend (not a big deal), no microwave, and no fridge. But there was a safe, staff was friendly and helpful, easy walking/very convenient location. I would stay here again if it was a short stay, if staying longer than a couple of days I would most likely stay in a different hotel. But honestly you can’t beat the price.

The hotel is BEAUTIFUL and CLEAN and central to 5th avenue and other markets. The staff was friendly. The room had a fan and an AC unit that worked ok… when it’s that hot not sure how much you can expect from an AC. The only downfall was that I was unable to use my American Express card at the hotel. Had I have chosen to pay in advance it would not have been an issue.

The good stuff first, the reception staff was great, and the room was larger than we expected. The hotel is next to a club called Congo Bongo that blares music til 3-4am. It is very loud, even ear plugs won’t help. The bathroom is super small, and the slat door is so thin you can literally see through it. During our three night stay we realized that this a hotel the locals frequent so the pool was filled with large family groups with kids. Our fault for not researching more, we wanted a quiet couples vacation near 5th. Lesson learned.

Amazing hotel that was pretty clean. Pool was awesome as well as the rooms. Pillows could use a little upgrade. Hotel staff were great to deal with. Excellent location with great access to 5th ave and the beach. Did not really hear Coco Bongo next door unless you were up at at 1:00am.

The hotel staff at reception were kind of rude. We paid 200 pesos for beach towels and the maid took them when they cleaned the room and they tried to tell us we had to pay again because we didn’t return them. This was resolved but beware of that. The pool area was clean and nice to sit around.
