Located above a Greek restaurant with yummy food, and close to other restaurants, a few mins from the shopping mall and Dan Murphy. Staff were very friendly.

Property in good central location , room supplied was overlooking a restaurant roof with extraction fans going to all hours, no screen on small balcony with no view. Bed was hard, old and uncomfortable, amenities disjointed from living area and set out like a nursing home. Booked in for three days checked out next morning no refund.

Wasn't told prior or at check in that rooms would not be serviced over the new year long weekend. Not only were they not serviced, but the complex was unmanned new year's day. Not only a security issue but other people were confused about how to check in. Rooms were tidy but tired. Towel rack kept falling off, and drier was too noisy to use while in the room (feel sorry for anyone next door).

Overall stay was pleasant and good. We had a 4 night stay from Thursday to Monday and there was no room service available during the weekend. Wifi was not working as it was under maintenance for the whole 4 days of our stay.

Easy to find, right across from the river, so nice view. One block away from small, quiet downtown. We liked that the Quest hotels have kitchenette, if you want to cook.

The only issue I found was the bed was uncomfortable otherwise location was great, friendly helpful staff & we were able to check in early, secure car parking, very clean & tidy. Just wish the mattress was comfy.

The hotel was great, value for money was great however the booking was completely incorrect, bedding was incorrect, and then we where offered alternate rooms and upgraded only to find out they were all dirty and unserviced. After all this, although we appreciate being offered a room free of charged we had to wait for the beds in all rooms to be split wasting so much time and money, and me the the owner of the company that paid was then moved to another room with the wrong key. So disappointed, reception sorry to say had no clue.

I paid for a king size bed room, however had two very uncomfortable king singles pushed together that formed a ridge in the middle, rendering sleeping in the middle of bed useless

The room was large and clean. However the windows hardly opened so it was very stuffy. The A/C blew right on you because the unit was over the bed. So either you were too hot or too cold.They locked the pool and deck at 6 pm because they had no staff on duty. It was disappointing not to use them especially since it was so hot inside room.Good location.

I was very impressed with the location, staff and also how accommodating the girl at the reception was able to upgrade me to a one bedroom apartment with ease and friendliness. The upgrade price was very reasonable and the apartment was perfect. I would highly recommend Quest Mackay to anyone wanting a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Mackay. The Greek restaurant downstairs was fabulous!

Booked saturday afternoon for Saturday night stay. Checked in within 3 minutes. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was amazing. Water pressure in shower was incredible! More suited to longer stays (we didn’t get to fully use all facilities), but would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone!

I love having a kitchenette and slightly bigger room because I can cook and make myself at home :) Also available was undercover parking and passes to Anytime Fitness gym down the road.
