Rooms and beds are clean. Location is just perfect. It can be a bit noisy as it's in the center. Pretty good place and friendly staff.

Everything was good for the amount paid. I recommend to install more electricity outlets in the room.

Caution: be aware what you are booking. This property was not worth my "hard earned" - it charged hotel prices (>£100/night in March) for a cheap and shabby double room and bathroom. We were so disappointed in its condition (dirty, bit smelly, aging decor, stained shower, cracks in the ceilings and walls) - not as portrayed in the pictures - we left and found a nearby hotel for slightly more money. The only redeeming feature was the helpful chap on reception. If you are happy with "basic" - the location is good - central, but noisy with it. We actually found a smart hotel 5 mins away for not much more cost... even better location and of a standard you'd expect at this price. I did request a refund but T&Cs don't allow this. I accept my booking stopped them selling the room, so lesson learned. The photos and even the reviews don't match the low quality of this accommodation, which is overpriced in my opinion. If you are looking for a double room - check nearby hotels and pay the extra if you can. Despite the disappointment - we still had a great time in Madrid and will return. Just not to this place!

Great location. Small sign so took awhile to find. Everyone in the neighborhood was helpful especially the staff! Market next door as well as Metro access. Parking was $33/ 24 hours in the garage down the street be sure to confirm where to park for discount we messed that part up. Bring ear plugs if you aren’t used to city/ neighbor noise. All in all great experience!

The room was a little small, but the staff is so kind and professional, the location is perfect.

This hostal is located in a central location very easy to walk to important places and easy to get transportation. However, the place is very loud. You can hear everything meaning what other guests say next door, in the hall etc.

Noise and noise , night and day No vew... It was not an hostel, as described, but a student room and the coast was overevaluated !! WE have choosen with wife, to go to an hostel, for end of our holidays !

Great location and wakable and relatively safe area. Good stay for the price in Madrid.

Entrance door was locked and we had to ring several times until it was opened. The receptionist was rude while registering. The window blinds were blocked and couldn't be opened to get some daylight or fresh air. The heating was too high and couldn't be lowered. The shower doors were damaged and couldn't be closed. So water spilled out. The walls are very thin, so we could hear everything the neighbours were talking.

Great location but rooms could have been better for the money.

Absolutely abysmal. Booked in for 2 nights but left after one. one room had no soap or working shower. No sleep at all. Walls were paper thin and constant foot traffic down the corridor and at reception. Then in early morning the trash lorry added to the noise.

Excellent, clean, spacious room

Horrible place, no way to find it, no sign out side the property , too noisy , If you don’t want to ruin your staying in Madrid pick another place, I’m not a picky person or troublemaker, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, !!!! I WONT RECOMMEND!!!

Cleaning

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Amazing value and decent accommodation for what you’re paying for, especially if you’re spending your time being out and about. The rooms are air conditioned and clean and our en suite had a jet shower. Location is just fabulous with everything major being within few min distance. I would definitely come and stay again. The staff were also really friendly and helpful and we were able to have a an early check in which was great. Thank you!

Perfect location - cheap but little too basic; bed uncomfortable and no where even to sit. Good shower; clean but bit dusty in parts and cracked sink- no plug, glasses/cups/ hairdryer but staff friendly and provided extra pillows when requested.

Location that’s about it

This is a simple well located hostel. It is clean and the staff are friendly and helpful with reasonable english spoken. The room we had was very basic but sufficient for a placd to try to sleep. The only downside is a side effect of the excellent central location. The street noise cannot be blocked out and ear plugs are necessary as the partying goes on until 6 am evrry night. This is not a fault of the hotel, just a fact of life. A great place if you want to be in the centre of things, even better if you want to join the party.

For the price I got what I paid for, great location and walkable to everything. I had trouble finding the front entrance but when I called the staff were extremely helpful. Having a private washroom/bedroom were nice.

Heather doesn’t work, hot water was random, they wake you up every day for service, place is dirty and run down, spend a little extra and get a decent place to stay.

The electric outlets were very inconvenient behind the bed/mattress, so you had to move the bed to charge your phone... No decent table to work on, and not within reach of an electrical outlet. Night temperature in the room was uncomfortably warm and extremely dry air. Leaving the main purpose of a hotel -A good night sleep- behind. Lots of black fungal spots in the bathroom. The doors are very light and don't fit the frame very well, a gap of over 1cm between the hallway and the room let all the sound in (and out). Although it was priced very attractively in a last-minute offer, I can't say I left satisfied. + Friendly staff, though!

Location was good, property was outdated as well as the room. The room was also deceiving and was not at all as advertised. Was very small, noisy and room did not feel safe or secure.
