Breakfast is amazing and staff was super nice

We wanted to visit a friend for a day and had to cancel a night at Royal Kamuela; we were able to do so with help from the sales and staff team. All the staff were very helpful and professional. Location was a big plus as good restaurants and spas were nearby.

Amazing hotel, stunning location but the staff made our 5 night stay so enjoyable. They cannot do enough for you, they always have a smile on their faces. The front of house team were amazing, helping us with excursions and trips with their local knowledge. Can recommend all the trips we made, Cretiya, Fire Dance, Sunrise tour, Jewellery making, Coffee plantation, for us the highlight was Purification Temple trip so profound, Suli made the experience so special. Food excellent, rooms clean, tidy and spacious, the Spa facilities and staff were so happy in their work its very infectious. 5 stars is not enough for this hotel

A great place for a luxurious and restful holiday. Close to the centre of Ubud, but due to the grounds being so large, you feel that you are removed from all the hustle of the town. A perfect place for a child free escape.

There are 3 public areas including the pool, lounge and restaurant. All of them are outdoors so you can enjoy the amazing Bali warm breeze. I stayed here with my wife and we had a great time.

Wake up to monkeys 🐒 and enjoy their delicious breakfast selections. The fruit is so delicious. We did a couple spa treatment and it was so amazing and relaxing. The resort is centered perfectly to explore in either direction. Close to shopping, dinning and night life.

Great hotel with very friendly and courteous staff. The rooms are big and clean. We loved their floating breakfast (it was beautiful!). The room service was 24 hrs, and their food was delicious. We also liked how the staff would drive us (in a golf cart) to our room, since it’s a far walk and uphill. We loved our stay here and will definitely stay here again.

We had a phenomenal stay at the Royal Kamuela Villas & Suites! We got the villa with the private pool, and it perfect to come back to after a long day, or to just stay in the room and relax. There is also a very tasty breakfast included, and room service is extremely easy if you don’t feel like going anywhere. I highly recommend using them for airport transfers, we were greeted with water and a cold towel which was perfect after we got into DPS at 2am. The staff is so kind and attentive; they always asked us how our day was and made sure we promptly got anything we needed. They even reached out before we arrived to help us schedule activities and spa treatments! Location wise the hotel is a bit hidden, but off a busy and touristy area in Ubud. We were able to easily walk to both the Ubud Palace and the Campuhan Ridge Walk. There are a lot of restaurants and shops nearby to visit as well. It’s also a prime spot for any tours that you may book. Thank you to the Royal Kamuela team for such an amazing experience in Bali!

Tranquil oasis in the middle of a busy road with lots of nice restaurants close by. The accommodation was exceptional and the staff friendly and wonderfully helpful. The choice of breakfast was varied and delicious. We ate at the restaurant and the food and service was excellent. We would highly recommend staying here.

Our stay was amazing. If you are ever in Ubud, I would highly recommend this resort! We booked the private villa for three night and it was nothing short of incredible. The hotel itself has a plethora things that you can do on site from day tour excursions, to cooking classes, to spa days, and even requesting a floating breakfast. Also the hotel is extremely close to the monkey forest so you can see the monkeys all throughout the hotel and we had plenty of visitors up close and personal in our villa throughout our stay! The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and attentive. One of the best hotels I have booked in years!

Excellent resort. Got the VIP treatment from every member of the staff who went out of their way to make us feel at home. Room, Spa, restaurant and pool were all amazing and the location couldn't have been better.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 night after finishing a cruise. We stayed in one of their Villas. This is one of the finest hotels we have stayed in.The staff was very helpful in providing advice for sightseeing, touring. Absolutely excellent. We used them for 3 tours to various sites. The 2 guides were knowledgeable and most helpful. Special mention to Suli who not only picked us up from the ship, but also provided 2 of the tours and valuable insight into the unique culture of Bali and in particular Ubud. We had our anniversary during our stay and Suli helped in outfitting our room as a surprise. We can highly recommend this hotel. Claus Lenk

Overall great experience. It’s quiet but close to everything. The morning breakfast is very good and the staff is lovely there. Lots of monkeys around the villa’s ! The water in the villa pool was cooler than I like and there are too many attempts to upsell for tours and amenities

Wow describes it all. The staff goes above and beyond to spoil you so you will regret leaving. The Shrida restaurant was excellent. Every meal was wonderful. The spa was incredible. The spa was beautiful and they even have a bowl of flowers under the massage table to look at while you get the best massage ever. Enjoy the day at the large pools in carefree bliss as you sip tropical cocktails. Also close walking distance to so much! This resort is a true gem!

Excellent resort right in the middle of Ubud. The private pool room was amazing! It's the Best hotel we've ever stayed in and we travel a lot. We loved having our own private pool! The service, food, spa, and rooms are all incredible! We felt like VIPs the whole time. It's an Oasis in the middle of the city and close to everything. You won't be disappointed.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. They were all responsive and very nice. We loved the resort. The food was great. Location is fun, as is a 5 min walk from the monkey forest. It’s fun to have monkeys wandering the property. Would definitely return.

Decent place in the heart of Ubud. The rooms are spacious and clean. Overall the hotel is nice but doesn't quite meet the service you expect at a true luxury hotel. The staff are friendly but could better communicate, including how the breakfast is set up.

Staff couldn’t have been more helpful and food at the hotel was fabulous! We got the pool villa- unreal.

Nice hotel

Property is ok, gym and pool open at 7 and close at 20:00, they claim it’s because of the noise, but their noise restaurant (right next to the pool and gym) is open till very late. Same goes for their overpriced spa. This is my 4th time in Ubud, first time in this hotel and in my opinion you are very likely to find better value for money.
