We stayed 3 nights while visiting Queenstown.Very convenient location to the CBD.The view over the city and lake are beautiful .The accommodations were nice.There is no A/C but it is really not needed.They provide a full breakfast and a very nice happy hour(wine tasting) on M,W,and F.I highly recommend the Queenstown House

Faultless in every way.

The room had a beautiful view of the lake. The bed was very comfortable. I was able to do laundry which was a big plus. Breakfast was delicious and made to order. Would definitely recommend staying here.

From check in to departure, the level of service and care was exceptional. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely would recommend this property. Super friendly staff and management, nothing was too much trouble. Location was amazing with lovely outdoor deck area with stunning views of the mountains. Breakfast was to die for with a menu of choices for brekky. Will def be back.

Added bonus was I got upgraded for free to a villa room from my original room! Killer view of qt! Will definitely try and stay again!

The admin staff (Maryanne) was immediately present and very warm and welcoming when my partner and I first entered the boutique BnB. The owners Paul and Sam were very friendly and helpful especially with our requests for our take-away breakfasts (healthy and tasty 😊) on the days that we planned our early morning tours. Thank you also for sharing general information, facilitating booking procedures and also for enabling our slightly late checkout during our last day at the property. The room was very tidy and bathroom clean with adequate toiletries. My choice room with the King-sized bed has an excellent panoramic view of the town area, lakeside and surrounding mountains. The breakfast was very tasty and it was tended by two charming staff namely Sylia (from Estonia) and Denisa (from Mexico). Thank you girls for enhancing our breakfast experience with your warmth, friendliness and very good service. I would like to record a special thanks to Maryanne (property administrator) for ensuring that all our tour booking and taxi reservations details were taken care of; especially for making my partner and I feel homely with your friendly conversation and lovely smile. Thanks once again to Paul, Sam, Maryanne, Sylia and Denisa for helping to ensure our stay in Queenstown to be both pleasing and memorable.

Property has 11 guest rooms. They have robes & slippers for you, tea & coffee in room. Breakfast & parking are included. Breakfasts are over the top. Laundry facilities available. Also they have a happy hour with NZ wines where it is nice to meet the other guests. Killer hill to walk up 1 block but better than the alternative of driving & trying to find parking in Queenstown. Only negative is rooms were slightly small. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed at the Queenstown House for three nights in March 2023. We had a great room with a beautiful view of Lake Wakatipu. This is a wonderful place and the owners, Paul and MaryAnn are great hosts. The free breakfast on site was excellent, and they provided a bag breakfast on the day we left early to take a tour of Milford Sound. They also happily make reservations for other activities, such as the steamboat tour to the Walter Peak Farm. All in all, a first class operation!

We really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff providing us with directions for walking around, dinner reservations, phone calls and ordering a taxi. The evening wine and canapés were a nice touch.

Queenstown House was the highlight property of our two week tour of New Zealand. Paul and Samantha are great hosts and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious.

A very friendly host introduced us to our bright three-window corner room with a good view onto Lake Wakatipu. The chamber itself was pretty snug, with a bit of extra space for a fridge, a suitcase, and some coat hangers. Considering that it was winter, the heating was not very noticeable. Breakfast was quite nice, yet the fruit selection would be either sparse when you come early or else nonexistent. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our visit.

Good medium sized B & B in great location on the hill 5 minute walk to downtown. Good rooms, very clean, but our bathroom was rather old. Delicious full breakfast with self serve cereals, fruit, muffins and served cooked selection. Lovely breakfast room. Nice touch the wine tasting and nibbles at 5pm. Good conversations with other travellers.

One of the best places that we’ve stayed while in New Zealand, exceptionally clean, in a beautiful location overlooking the city with incredible views, the staff and owners are very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is especially good, with fresh pastries yogurt granola and even a menu to choose hot dishes from! We highly recommend this property and would stay again! Five stars!
