Broken heater, Very poor soundproofing. Bath towels were either stained or just not clean. Not at all worth the rates they charge.

This wasnt a bad experience per se, but for what we paid for one night, I feel we could have had better. The room was comfortable and looked clean, it just looked old and the room had a dirty smell to it. Almost like body odor from the last resident. The staff was kind and helpful though and the breakfast was good as well.

We booked a king suite with a view for our anniversary and they said they overbooked. Was not happy and we didn’t receive a refund or credit either.
Had 2 queen beds and no view at all, it was a driveway that was very busy all night. 👎

The hotel is in a convenient spot. The room was clean and comfortable. The guest laundry only takes quarters and there isn't a change machine (front desk only had a little to exchange). The view from the roof is pretty cool.

The breakfast was lovely and convenient. They even provided sack breakfasts for a grab-and-go. The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was lovely. My only regret was that I didn't get outside to see a sunset on their patio. I would most definitely stay again.

Having stayed in other Hampton Inn's - I had an expectation for staff to be friendly and helpful as they always have been. At this location though - when we checked in, they were cold and abrupt. They werent super helpful and not very welcoming.
Through the evening we had people jumping around and playing loud music on and off until 2 am. So that was a bit rough. At breakfast a lot of items were gone through quickly and never replaced. Just overall not the experience we have come to know and appreciate from Hampton Inn - it wasn't a horrible stay - but we picked this hotel because of the wonderful experience we had at the one located in Burley, Idaho. Now that place has amazing staff and was a wonderul place to be!

The Stac was very friendly and helpful. All areas of the hotel were very clean. The beds were really comfortable too. The facilities had not been recently updated and were tired.

Upon check in, the front desk stay was rude and seemed bothered to help. Said almost nothing to me. The room was run down with a bad bed, horrible pillows, and broken fridge, and yellow stained towels. Then to top it off, housekeeping knocked and tapped on the door 5 times before 9am, until i had to yell at them. Mind you that this was a Saturday morning and check out time is noon. Bad stay.

I loved our stay! It was the perfect distance from the University of Utah where our child attends. I love the little amenities they have and the adorable coffee cups. The breakfast was amazing and exactly what I needed.

The hotel is tucked into a tight space behind strip-mall like businesses on a main road. It still manages to provide ample space for its guests -- space that includes clean comfortable rooms, up-to-date fixtures, and an attractive common area. Breakfast is by-the-book, nothing special, and the front-desk staff inattentive and bored. It seemed expensive for what it offered, but I do not know the SLC market.

I never leave reviews but the bathroom in our room was so gross I have to give everyone a heads up. There were little hairs on the floor, black and red mold and grime in every corner of the shower, inside and outside, green stuff on the shower head which then shot water in every different direction. The room was small and not well lit, mismatched furniture, stains on the chair and bench, many of the pictures hung crooked on the wall. So weird! The property is clean, easy parking and very convenient to the University of Utah. But for the price I paid I would not stay here again.

When driving into this hotel, it may be easier to see the Verizon sign than the hotel sign. There is some covered parking, which is useful during icy or hot weather. I stayed two nights for leisure during the Sundance Festival. Other guests looked like they were also attending Sundance. Everything in the hotel worked! My room was quiet because it was on the top floor and faced east away from the road and toward the mountains.
