Did not get the city view that was advertised on the hotels.com site. Jack the receptionist said that they do not have an upgraded room with a city view at all, which is falls advertising. Found a fly with maggots on my bed, on my first night, so requested to be transferred to another room which was granted and the receptionist gave the key without a word.
The room I was transferred to, was
more spacious and the shower drainage did not smell unlike the initial room.
Overall the rest of my stay was pretty good minus the initial hiccups.
Motel is minutes from the 3 sisters, bus stop right in front of the motel and hand made choc shop just around the corner.

A little tired but it has excellent positioning only two minutes walk to echo point . Staff were excellent and very friendly. A great place to base yourself for bushwalking or touring the area. Enjoyable stay. Thankyou.

Was ok. Not a very scenic view from our scenic view room. Bathroom door was noisy and woke the other person up each time, was hard to open. Very outdated, bed was average.

Parking lines would be of great benefit It would help other patrons to park between lines instead of across or diagonal in 2 spaces. especially when the motel is near capacity.
It is comforting to know your vehicle is just outside instead of down the way or out on the street.

The rooms are a bit rustic, but clean and well appointed. The bed was super comfortable. The 686 bus line stops right out front in both directions so getting around was as simple as checking the Opal App for stop times. The location at Echo Point made for a nice morning walk to the Three Sisters before checkout.

The motel is in great location. Echo point lookout only few minutes walk. Room quite clean and comfortable and overall condition quite good except the cold tap doesn’t work properly. Otherwise everything else quite good. Will stay again.

Very chilly weekend in there blue mountains but the hotel was a nice cosy retreat with a very comfy bed. Great location with a 10 minute walk to echo point too.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Echo Point Motel. The rooms were spacious, clean and modern. The staff were very friendly, check in was seamless. We arrived late after reception hours, I received a text with all the prompts to collect our room key. Lots of parking spaces, and very close to the Echo Point lookout and walking trails. Would definitely stay again.

The bathroom was filthy. It was old and covered in mould. The room was not the same room as advertised in the photos. When I contacted expedia, they were very helpful to rectify the error. Expedia contacted the owner and moved us to a renovated room.

Overall the room was very clean and comfortable. The bed was super comfy. Loved it.
Shower had a bit of black mould in the corners so gave it a good spray with mould killer which removed it.

Better than expected. Was very happy with my clean, refurbished room. Location of the facility was great. Minor gripe is that it was cold in the bathroom. Heated lighting option in bathroom would be great. Didn’t see staff through out my weekend stay however always returned from a day outing to a made-up room. Easy access to door key pick-up and return. Price was good too @$150 per night.

The motel was near the three sisters and the cliff top walk. The bus stop was close so you could go to Katoomba

Accommodation was conveniently located close to the Three Sisters so getting to the site was really easy. The only downside was that it was very crowded at most times of the day.
We found the room was spacious for our family and reasonably comfortable. Dishes were unwashed and the floors were quite dirty. Towels clean. Beds were also quite clean.
In the evenings it got quite noisy as we were situation in the ground floor near the entrance. Neighbours were a little too close for comfort and we could hear everything. As a result the kids took some time to settle before sleeping. Otherwise it was a reasonably pleasant stay and we would come back.

I’ve stayed here several times, and have found it to be a good affordable option in a great location. Unfortunately my most recent stay has been very negative. Between 9.30pm and 10.30pm there was very loud noise just outside the room, which could be heard with headphones/music on. The same noise started again at 7am the next morning, and I checked out at 7.45am while the noise was still going.
I’ve contacted the hotel to discuss and have had no reply. I called reception three days ago, and was told my messages had been seen and escalated to a supervisor, but I’ve still heard nothing back.
Really poor customer service after a very disrupted stay.

Tables inside room were dusty and left uncleaned. No drinking water inside the room, had to shared kitchen to get it. Good for bagpackers but not for family and couple.

This is a traditional and very well thought out motel with rooms that are practically studio apartments and of a decent size, well equipped and with a good bed and sheets. My room was a little tired and worn but also very reasonably price.

Great Katoomba option - you pretty much get exactly what you'd expect. Cheap and cheerful motel just a couple of minutes' walk from Echo Point and some great views. Check-in and check-out quick and easy, very friendly and helpful staff. Beds were comfortable enough and rooms a reasonable size - great budget option for a couple of nights in Katoomba.
