The Bryn is just a perfect place to stay David and Val look after you so well and the breakfast is fab the produce used is top class and home made tatie scones and jam were delicious. A great place to stay and gets my 5star seal of approval.

I just had a stopover night stay so just a flying visit really. But had everything I needed. Full breakfast and what a lovely friendly couple

Overall good stay, only real issue being unable to take the paid for breakfast, would be a good idea to ensure breakfast times are stipulated pre booking as have been changed to a later (8am) start. Host did provide a wrapped sausage sandwich and drink though. Room comfortable with all amenities to a very good standard .

The Bryn is really the nicest and cleanest B&B we have ever stayed in. The hosts are very welcoming and professional. Breakfast was delicious, all in all a very pleasant stay.

Chris and Val are excellent and friendly hosts and can provide you with a plethora of local information on places to visit and eat at. It was a pleasure to be able to stay with such a nice couple. The only thing to note is the Shower Room is a little tight but, you do not stay in the Shower Room and this should not put you off staying. Once again, thank you to Chris and Val especially for the excellent and plentifull breakfasts and scones.

A beautifully kept little gem of a place. Breakfast was delicious with home made jam and bread. Sorry i was here for 1 night only. The owners are lovely people and very keen to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Thoroughly enjoyed a one night stay here. The Bryn is located just a few minutes walk from Oswestry Centre. Rooms were immaculately clean and well equipped if a little compact. Breakfast was excellent with home made bread and drop scones. Very warm welcome from our hosts. Would use again when next in area.

We felt very at home during our one night's stay. Val and Chris were very friendly and welcoming. The facilities were excellent and we had a comfortable and private room. Breakfast was great and relaxed. This was a much better option than the anonymous hotel chain options. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Having to attend an early appointment at a hospital in Gobowen, we needed an overnight stay to ensure we got there in time, so we chose the Bryn. Lovely people, the Schofields, but the room we had was small & rather cramped, - especially the loo/shower. The shower itself wasn't great, with no great power to the water flow, & the loo was between the cubicle & the wall. We're not small people, but it was a struggle. They did show us a rather better room on the ground floor, & we should have taken it - it would've made all the difference. Breakfast was OK, but we were more concerned about the upcoming appointment to want to eat a lot.

Occasionally you meet people happy in their own skin, who genuinely want to help, are generous in every way and who leave you feeling like a life long friend. Val and Chris are all of this and more, they also run a fabulous B and B!!

It was last minute booking. Emergency situation. I am a key worker and staying at company's accommodation. But an emergency occurred and I had to find different place to stay. The hosts put a lot of effort to prepare room for me with a very short notice. I am very grateful. They are very nice couple, great hosts. Convenient location.Spacious room with a bathroom. Val and Chris are very friendly and attentive. The B&B is conveniently located, as it only takes 5 minutes to walk to town centre from there. The breakfast is awesome. Overall, it was an extremely pleasant stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was spotless and everything you need is to hand, including tea/coffee making facilities, toiletries, hairdryer, local information and magazines. Chris and Val are so welcoming and friendly and we had some good chats over their amazing breakfasts which include fresh fruit, local produce, home made bread and jam and blueberry drop scones. Being on a Cul-de-sac, the area is very quiet, yet within walking distance of the town centre. I would definitely come back again - if they’re not full!
