Good, basic business hotel. Exactly what you would expect from an Ibis. Facilities were all fine. Biggest problem was that there was construction going on all the time. I tried to take a call from my room and there was loud drilling in the corridor which made it pretty difficult. Breakfast was shared with the Novotel next door and pretty good.

I don't speak french. Ibis is related to Novotel. therefore the place is not so bad. It is absolutly not clean and the rooms are very small. The breakfast and food in the novotel are good even as the swimmingpool

Cleanliness was subjective - the hallways and public spaces were clean but the room floor had a recent stains that could easily have been cleaned & daily bathroom cleaning was low standard

Thoroughness of cleaning in the rooms was not great. There were stains on the floor that looked decent enough to have been removed and a constant unpleasant smell in the room. Whilst the public areas smelled fresh the room had a staleness.

It was difficult because the room smelled of mold. It was the same when I changed rooms. It was hard while I was there. It seems to need improvement.

The hotel is in a safe compound downtown on Le Plateau. The rooms are pretty standard but functional. Mine smelled noticeably like cigarette smoke despite the nonsmoking signs everywhere.
I found the front desk staff to be pretty rude, refusing to help me call a taxi for the airport outright and ignoring my second question completely about leaving 30 minutes late. Ousman in particular was especially dismissive.

Ibis owned by Novotel in Dakar and hotels next to each other. Novotel put all Ibis of customers upgraded to Novotel hotel. Novotel great hotel!

It is in the center of the city, close to all important locations.

Very convenient, close to the port to go to Goree or Casamance. Room are simple but we slept well. Restaurant and swimming pool are shared with the Novotel in the same complex.

As far as comfort goes it was a remarkable rest time in a exotic and charming place.The pool is amazing and makes you feel integrated with it’s pair Novotel located beside. Enjoying the breakfast and feel each activities day being planned for people who come from all over the world was really cool.For sure I recomend it and I’m looking forward to come again to Dakar this amazing city.

Great place if your looking for a basic and clean room. Stayed one night for meetings and felt very comfortable. Would definitely come back and stay the next time I’m in Dakar. Bonus was the hotel is attached to the Novotel and you have access to their pool.

Great location. Staff very helpful. Excellent breakfast. Rooms looking a bit tired. Poor TV reception Disappointed that no tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms. They also advertise continental breakfast from 4.30 am which after a lot of discussion we managed to get at the Novotel next door
