In general, it was very good. We were disappointed that the property had neither a restaurant nor a bar. However, the morning breakfasts were excellent.

Excellent desk attendant and breakfast staff of Fannie and Zavier were amazingly attentive. Would stay again!

We received the best service at this hotel! Everyone from front desk staff to valet to staff in the breakfast area was amazing - friendly and helpful. There’s a busy firehouse across the street. It didn’t bother us but may bother some. The hotel and staff made up for it. Well done, Fairfield Inn!

This was our second stay and we liked it just as much as the first time. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds and perfectly located only a short walk from the Riverwalk. Friendly staff helps you with whatever it is you need. Can recommend!

Parking was a joke. Self parking is 2.5 blocks away from the hotel or you valet for $69 per night. That was your choice. The carpet was wet when we checked in but it dried hope it was water

Excellent customer service from the front desk, breakfast service and maid service. Everyone we came in contact was outgoing and friendly. Rooms were clean.

Chicago fire department is opposite to the hotel. You can’t sleep because of the night long the fire trucks sirens are on.

Room was clean. Staff were considerate and friendly . Our room on the 8th floor had a lovely view and we felt safe. Room was clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend.

The AC was down and it was 88 degrees in our room. No assistance was offered other than a box fan. Then to top it off I was double charged for valet parking and have been disputing the charge with the hotel which said it's not their problem that valet is it's own entity but yet the hotel gave them our cc to charge and we did not. The location was great but that's about it. As a travel planner on my own family trip I won't be recommending this to any of my clients and won't be returning.

The AC was down, but the staff gave us every accommodation possible. They were very friendly, the breakfast was delicious every morning, and the location was great for walking or catching a bus/the train. I highly recommend.

When we arrived to check in it was 90 degrees and the stifling hot in the lonby. The hotel HVAC was broken since the previous night and no one had informed us sonwe were completely unprepared. We were also told there was no estimate of when the ac would be repaired.
We had to wait for over 2 hours in the unpleasant heat and humidity while the staff tried to make arrangements to pit us up at another property in the area.
In the end things worked out but I don’t think we’ll ecer book this hotel again aftet this experience.

Property canceled on me just a couple of hours before checking in while I was in the air!

Unfortunately, I encountered some issues during my stay. Firstly, the air conditioning was not functioning on both days of my stay. This was during summer time, the room and the whole building remained uncomfortably warm.
Additionally, I noticed that my room was not cleaned after the first night. The bed was not made, and the bathroom was not refreshed. This oversight was disappointing and did not meet the standards of cleanliness and service I expect from a hotel.
I trust that these issues can be reviewed and addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Where it’s situated it’s perfect for walking, coffee anround the corner, amazing restaurants around the corners, easy to see riverwalk, navy pier, big bus tour, river cruise, Willis tower, millennium park and so much more. Great breakfast and friendly staff there, so all just perfect

We liked everything about the property but were disappointed when the air conditioning broke down. That aside, a fan was provided only after we asked and there was definitive answer on when it would be restored. However the manager was understanding and helpful when we said we would like to move out to another property.

Be aware that the hotel is located across the fire station and is Chicago, it gets pretty loud all night long.
Also, we had bad luck that the AC wasn’t working but they did a great job relocating us to another hotel and didn’t charge the price difference, and also they didn’t charge the night without AC that we spent there for the inconvenience, so overall they responded in an excellent way to the unforunate situation, we really appreciate.

The rooms were nice and updated. There was a fridge which was a nice surprise! Plenty of outlets and usb plug ins. We were able to walk everywhere because it was right by the red line. The staff were friendly and courteous. Javier was in the breakfast area and it was so nice to start the day out with his enthusiasm. There were a lot of breakfast options.
