The room was clean but the furniture was streaked with oily handprints on the geadboard and what appeared to be dried whipped cream on the cup oats door holding the refrigerator. The lights were on as was the TV at 8:30 pm thanksgiving evening.
I didn't notice the furniture until daylight showed them in the morning. Everything else was neat and tidy. Breakfast was ok but no jam for the toast and no protein just carbs and sugar. The attendant did bring yogurt when I asked.
It was a little funny and a little disappointing to see the furniture .

The first room I got was wet and stink. Then I asked Staff to change the room. The second one was better but the floor was still a little damp.

Very musty smelling room. Fortunately the bed was comfy and linens smelled clean. Bathroom was clean.

Was a decent hotel. My room was a double queen room and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good with biscuits/gravy, cereal, muffins, waffles and hard-boiled eggs. The room did smell a little different and the cold water faucet didn't work. Otherwise this is a solid hotel

Clean and well kept. Mattress was worn as it slumped in the center. Other than that very nice.

Room seemed clean when we walked in. Then saw dirty mirror, dusty frig, and a burn spot in the microwave. Tried to shower in the morning and couldn’t pull the shower knob to open the water flow out of the shower head. Luckily, my daughter who was with me could get it open, but not enough for good water pressure. The shower head was too small for any type of pressure. The soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Breakfast was lacking in variety. Bread was 4 days old, orange juice was warm and tasted awful. I will not stay at this Econo Lodge again.

For the price we were pleasantly surprised. The check in was pretty simple, although there was no hair dryer in the room the desk clerk was able to supply one, the room was comfortable, and there was a pretty good breakfast although it seems it's put out at 0530 and not checked or attended until it's shut down at 1000. Yes, it was apparent that this property has had some moisture problems, there were air fresheners in the hall to help cover the musty smell and it was unclear if the odd scent of licorice in the room was a cover scent or something used to remediate mildew, but it wasn't bad. There was a DampRid hanging in the clothes area. I did not see nor smell any actual mold or mildew so kudos for that. I'd book here again if I was in the area.

Due to miscommunication between staff and management we had to change rooms 3 times before we finally found a clean room.

This property offered a great summer rate!
Bed and shower were good. The room included a refrigerator.
It did have a new bath/shower.
The location is conveniently located next to HyVee grocery and Labbies sports bar and grill.
However, the room has a very musty smell and in general just is older.
The breakfast area is very small, but they did offer a nice variety of items.
There is no blow dryer provided.
Weeds were growing in the rocks around the building.
No lock on outside door. Luckily, Watertown is a smaller community so I felt pretty safe.
