The elevators need to be serviced. They worked but the doors would constantly open and close 3 times before completely shutting. Very frustrating

Very cleam rooms, housekeeping every day. Nice breakfast. Staff professional and polite , everybody spoke good english.

Great place!

Parking is best if use Valet. Experienced drivers. Garage close. No refrigerators in any of the rooms was missing for me. Smithsonian very close. Easier to walk than take metro. Can also use app. Breakfast kept Hampton Inn high standard. Breakfast area nice and comfortable. Room comfortable and quiet.

The hotel staff were very nice and customer service was excellent. The breakfast was excellent especially their coffee.

The hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and the hotel was very convenient to visit the museums and monuments. We parked and was able to walk to pretty much everything we did.My daughter enjoyed the fresh cookies in the lobby the first night.

Random charges. 1: Initially charged twice for hotel room (got it back) 2: Randomly charged 79$ for some reason. Haven’t got it back or know why. Also, shower curtain bar fell on girlfriends forehead as she was getting out the shower. Shower should have a sliding door based off the design. One elevator worked for an 11 floor hotel. Kinda ridiculous.

This hotel couldn't be better located for a Washington tourist stay. Compact, but contemporary, clean and with friendly staff. Rooms lovely, bathroom even better. Breakfast was decent, both hot or cold options. Staff so friendly and helpful. So glad we picked this place! Recommended.

Hotel is in an excellent area, just 5-8 min walking to white house. Friendly staff. I would definitely book again.

The room had an independent AC unit within the room on the floor. It was too loud and even vibrates every few minutes. As a result I couldn’t sleep the whole night. When I put it on the quiet mode it didn’t cool the room and it was so uncomfortable.

Lovely stay with friendly staff

The good: The hotel is very conveniently located near the White House and not far from the Mall and Metro stop. The free breakfast was great. Staff was nice enough. Room was clean when we got there. Bed was OK. I think the price was good for the area. The not so good: The AC kept stopping. We had to reset it once or twice a day/night when temp would get close to 80 in the room. Told management the first day. Housekeeping only came once during our 5 night stay. The day before we left. They did bring us towels, tp... when needed. Went to the pool once. Nothing fancy. Had it all to ourselves. It was a bit discolored around the sides so a little concerning. We really needed a fridge for the room but couldn't get one. It was noisy outside our window esp the first night and early morning with the garbage trucks, etc. The view out the window was not a good one...dumpsters and building next door. I guess that's the city for you. If we go back it would be because of the location, free breakfast and price. But would try to secure a fridge before arriving.

We checking in at 4:00 pm because the room not was ready and they not offer any water. The parking lot is in different building!

Starting with the hotel's description that said free parking available and it's not TRUE!!!. when I got there to check in the " free parking " was a valet parking for $55 + tax. The room was very small but the worst was that the a/c in the room didn't wok. I notified the front desk lady who said the maintenance guy left the hotel already, so she went to the room and confirm the room was very hot, she reset the ac and said it should cool off shortly. I asked her to move us into another room , she repeated again should cool off shortly, because she felt some kind of breeze. So because of that we had a bad night with NO AC AT ALL.

Everything was great especially the breakfast. It would have been nice though if there was a refrigerator in the room. Just a small box fridge would have been fine.

Staff was incredible!

I arrived early and left my bags. When I came back to check in, I was told my credit card didn’t work so they canceled my reservation. Why they couldn’t call me or deal with that when I was present, I don’t know. It was very frustrating to have to find a new hotel at that point in my trip. Travelocity couldn’t help with this either.

We loved this property and the location. Super close to the metro. Very clean. At checkout today the staff member on duty was super helpful and corrected a problem with our bill.

This hotel is in a great location for visiting famous landmarks, just a 6-minute walk from the White House. The bus stop across the street makes getting around easy, and many attractions are within walking distance, which was perfect for us, especially with the wonderful weather that weekend. The hotel staff is friendly and welcoming, offering bottled water upon our arrival and providing more upon request each day. The breakfast was excellent, particularly the delicious waffles. Our room was clean, and everything worked perfectly. Overall, we would definitely stay there again!
