Older building but my room was clean, comfortable, and had newer furnishings. Located on the main road through town so super easy to get to, and easy parking near your room.

Good bang for the buck. A bit run down, but was good value.

We are older, and we had to carry our luggage up stairs to the second floor because there was supposedly nothing available on the first floor. We booked hours in advance. Also, the front desk person was not friendly and welcoming.

Great place

This is a typical Motel 6, good value but on a busy street with no special qualities. Parking is terrible and you may have to take your chances in the empty lot next door. The clientele are variable, mostly families and working people so it's generally quiet by 11 PM. Maintenance leaves something to be desired with poor caulking around the tub, rough and poorly painted sections on spots of the walls, sticking front door, etc. However, the unit was clean and well equipped with microwave, fridge and coffee machine. For short-term or overnight stays, it's a convenient and relatively inexpensive choice.

Friendly staff and the room was spacious. Booked for 2 beds for 3 people and our room actually had 2 seperate bedrooms! It eas very clean and well worth the price

The rooms with upgraded windows were quiet. I would request one of those rooms. Perfect for a stop over.

Service was good location wasn’t good my fault I wanted to save money because of the economy the cost of living is very high.

Our room was clean and great for an overnight. Walking distance to many restaurants.

Perfect for a short stay!

Overall if you need a cheap place to stay for one night it will do. Some things to note, the beds are very firm, and seem smaller than normal, but the pillows were quite nice and fluffy. Walls are paper thing- could hear the person in the room next to us snoring. The cleanliness of the bathroom was alright at a quick glance, the more you looked at the crevices and cracks, the more you realized the dirtiness. I cannot remember if the pool is advertised but they have it filled with rocks, making it unusable. Had a room with a kitchenette, although we did not use anything other than the mini fridge, there was pots, pans, dishes, cutlery & soap all provided. The TV in the room is small, but it was a smart TV which was convenient.

It is a decent value and the property is in fair condition. Because it is beside the highway running through town, there is road noise.

Really nice room excellent place in Cranbrook. Pleasant people to deal with lots of room in the room for us. While traveling.

room was small but very comfortable

I was very disappointed when I arrived at this motel. I had booked it without looking at the website, thinking that all motel 6s were pretty much the same. Not so. This is a 2 level older building. All rooms are entered from the outside, there was an ashtray at every door and the smell of smoke was evident if I opened my window. There is no breakfast. Coffee was in my room and at the office in the morning. I have stayed in 4 others this summer...they were more like hotels..most, if not all, rooms were inside, complementary coffee and tea available anytime, breakfast, elevators. Lesson learned to check carefully in future. My room was clean and comfortable.

Wasn’t pleased with the security of the room. As I left and closed my door, the security latch came across and locked me out. Obviously it has happened in the past as the person at the front desk was able to break in through a window that has no lock. Towels are no longer white, they are a disgusting grey colour. Obviously not washed thoroughly with detergent. I won’t be back.

It was below average, they called several times inquiring what time we would be checking in, which we found to be strange. The bathroom has holes in the wall and traces of mould. I’m the morning house keeping came at 9am knocked, we answered and they proceeded to enter the room.

The property is a bit old but the unit had a pretty new kitchenette that we loved. It was clean and large. Worked well for us.

It was ok, it is a motel, it was hard to get to to the rooms on the upper floor

All was good, staff was accommodating. Room was very good for a budget friendly unit. My bed had a stain on the comforter. Other than that we were happy.

It was a bit pricey for what there was - no continental breakfast - but you take what you can get.

The staff were nice and accommodating. The property is a little dated, and the room was small. Bed was okay. Some stuff looked dirty, and the towels are no longer white. There was a bright light right outside of the bedroom window, and there weren’t proper black out blinds. So sleeping wasn’t great. The neighborhood isn’t great, and there was a homeless encampment just behind the place. Dog friendly, but dogs not allowed on grass on property(which there isn’t much). Overall the price was right, and its fine for staying just as long as you aren’t expecting anything too nice. Staff was good!

Manager (or desk clerk?) had difficulty speaking or understanding english.

The room was clean, it was quiet and the ice machine worked !
