Best thing about hotel was it’s location.

The breakfast was beyond great. We loved every time we had breakfast there. The bathrooms are small but clean. There no usb connection to charge your phones had to buy one and a power adapter. The staff were very nice and a great location.

Great location, funky "movie" themed little lobby & rooms, comfy beds. "Welcome Pickups" is a great service. Staff wanted to help with our needs. One problem: first suggested restaurant was some distance away. I had to request that they call to make us a reservation. Staff should have offered to make the call before we set out on foot as it turned out they had no availability. So they suggested a nearby better choice. Remote control for the thermostat did not work well. There was not a single English tv station. I suggest getting CNN international or one with current world news.

It is very accessible to everything and every one. I will love to stay again at this hotel.

Small hotel, but everything was clean, people were nice and helpful, little things like nice towels, shower, and water bottles were great. Location was walkable to many shops and restaurants. We were very happy with the choice.

This centrally located hotel has a very good breakfast buffet and worked well for the fire festival. It met my expectations, and I can recommend it to others.

Cons: - It's really noisy and the walls seem to be made of paper. I could hear the people in the next room talk at a normal level until 3am, and could even hear their phones playing videos. The pipes in the walls made constant noises that were pretty loud. The elevator door made a terrible screech every time it was opened. I got maybe 3 hours of sleep with all those various noises. - I couldn't open the window because the courtyard smelled really bad. - The furniture was pretty old, made of cheap material and run down. - Only one outlet next to the bed and one on the opposite wall. I have 4 devices that potentially need charging and this is really not enough. Depends on your point of view: - The room was incredibly dark, as it was facing a tiny courtyard and no natural light reached the window. It was rather depressing for me, but I guess if you're a night person you wouldn't mind. Pros: - The location is great and you can walk pretty much everywhere, and there's a metro station around the corner. - The bed was pretty alright and not too soft like many hotel beds. - The staff was nice and tried their best to help. I'd like to add that they were in the process of renovating one of the levels, so perhaps some of my points will be improved in the future.

Booked a room with two singles and got one double bed. Location is fantastic.

We just needed the one night and found the room was acceptable for the price. The breakfast looked good but we choose to eat in one of the many nearby cafes. A couple of things detracted from our stay There was always a bad odour in the elevator. I found the bed was too short for me to stretch out. There is an arrangement between the hotel and the local parking garage to provide 24hr parking for 17 euro but the garage is 300m away and not obvious when driving to the hotel.

The hotel suited all our needs, being able to walk to the tourist attractions, a food breakfast and an adequate place to sleep.

Location of hotel is super convenient, 3 minutes walk to the train and metro station, and is situated in the city centre. Staff is polite and helpful.

The hotel is in poor condition and needs urgent refurbishment including the room and its bathroom. Overpriced for what it has to offer!!! Room and bathroom are extremely tiny. Location is very good but noisy.

Great family friendly room. Description on hotels.com did not do it justice. Felt more like a suite. Door to separate off kids area. Good storage and balcony area with view over city. Excellent central location. Parked in secure underground car park half a mile away for 15 euros a night.

The bed is too short for average people and too small for one person. The bathroom door makes the bathroom almost unnavigable. A desk was a nice touch but. With the tv, blocks the way to the other side of the bed. In short the room is very badly arranged for the size. It was not a comfortable stay at any price. Maybe for s single person it might have been more bearable. Location was very nice.

Small typical European hotel downtown. Tiny rooms. So-so bedding but the worst was being next to the old fashioned elevator. Way too noisy late into the night and very early in the morning. Window looked out into nothing but air conditioner units.

Everything well except the comfort of the rooms

A few minutes after we checked in the elevator broke, just when we’re going to take our luggage to our room on the 6th floor. Ugh! The staff was not even helpful, and seems like they were hiding in the back, because they were nowhere to be found. Broken pieces on some of the stairs steps.

This is a 2 star hotel (basic accommodation) in the best location. It was clean and everyone at the front desk was kind and helpful. The room definitely could use refurbishing- there were marks on the walls and permanent stains on the curtains but I have no problem with that as long as the room is clean and it definitely was. I loved being in the center of everything, lots of restaurants within 15 minutes by foot and the hotel is located on a very quiet alley so the only problem I had with noise was the one night a guest (s) left a dog alone in the room above me and it cried/barked/howled for hours. Not the hotels fault and it didn’t ruin my stay. All other nights were very quiet. As long as you accept that this is a two star with few amenities, you will get a clean room in an ideal location for a very good rate.

The staff was extraordinarily friendly. Having WhatsApp contact with them really helps too. The rooms were clean, bathroom could be a bit cleaner. Some parts of the hotel need a bit of an opdate and there was a weird smell in the stairwell. The most important part are the beds: they were superb. However, they might be a bit short if you're over 180cm. Especially loved the movie theme of the hotel. It's really refreshing. We had a Titanic room and somehow I wish I could see all there rooms. The location of the hotel is very close to the center. Perfect to get to know the city

Booked this hotel for its price and convenient location for the marathon. Loved the concept of each rooms designed after movies since I am a bit of a movie buff (I got 'Out of Africa'). The rooms were clean and fresh. The staff were outstanding, not to mention they had a special consideration for the marathon runners by having an early breakfast for them! Extra shoutout to Carlos at front desk for his tremendous service and care (any hotel would be lucky to have an ambassador like him)! Only thing I would add for improvement is for management to have a check on certain equipment and renew them so as to not risk any potential cuts (such as showerheads). I will definitely run Valencia Marathon again, and will definitely choose Casual del Cine for then. Already looking forward to experiencing the other movie-themed rooms!

Great location for exploring the historic areas of the City, basic accommodation but did the job, friendly staff. Basic continental breakfast.
