We arrived earlier than the 14.00 hours booking in time. I politely asked if it was possible to take the room earlier. If it had not been possible I would have accepted the decision. The key was handed over and I paid. The lady in question did not present a welcoming demeanour that I have seen in the other properties I have stayed in.
Points of issue with Room 18:
1. Heater in bathroom does not work
2. Shower head leaks
3. Sink needs attention due to not emptying quick enough

Spiders inside and no table and one chair. Only a desk with TV on it. My wife had to sit on the bed to eat her meals . It needs a bit of maintenance and outside our door was a little tunnel. Spiders everywhere in it.

Motel was clean and tidy, it is by the side of the main road but was not affected by road noise. Short but (depending of which way you go) steep route down to sea front. The room was affected by a group of motorcyclists who were somewhat noisy.

Comfortable but basic with no frills. Everything we needed for an overnight stay. On the main road but noise not an issue for us. Need to walk or drive to shops and eating places.

This place was nice except for the staff. We never felt very welcome. We asked for milk once and were questioned about possibly drinking it. We stayed for 3 nights and never asked for anything else. We very rarely ever saw anyone in the office and the man that we spoke with was very brusque and unsmiling.

Easily accessible alongside the main State Highway 1, which does mean that there is quite a bit of road noise that can be heard in the rooms, however, it does go quieter at night. It is also an easy 10/15 walk into town, although it is all uphill on the way back.
Check in and Check out were functional rather than done with any great show of cheerfulness.
Everything, though was well maintained and clean. The room was a good size with a decent area for food preparation, with a sink, microwave, fridge and kettle.
There is also a handy Guest Laundry (coin operated) between rooms 1 & 2.

Here is the first stop of my trip. The room is very clean and has a good location! I can see the Mountain View from my window. There is no air conditioning in the room but I don’t think this is necessary as it is a bit cold even in the summer.

Very clean, easy check in, comfortable and quiet. Very comfortable bed! Nice to have plunger coffee available as well. Would definitely use again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend as a great place to stay. Loved meeting Blue who swung by to say hi as we were leaving (Blue the dog). Thank you!

Beautiful property. Very nicely appointed room. Right near park with gorgeous view of the mountains. A little away from the traffic of downtown, but still walkable, or only a couple minutes by car.
