Very big rooms, nice pool area has everything you need for a really good price, only thing i could fault was shower pressure but thats me being picky, definitely will stay again.

The drainage was choking so it was not maintained properly, it was quite disgusting But I love the floor staff, concierge and housekeeping they were lovely. The best is the massage place!

The rooms were good Good air conditioning Only flaws was water would come out of the shower doors and had to use towel on the floor And the alley that the hotel was at was dirty with garbage on the side and smelled like sewers The staff and the hotel itself is good in general

Great place to stay , good size rooms and nice pool . Ill be back again next year , only negative was my door card didnt work so had to get it sorted most mornings but not a major issue . William the barman was awesome give him a payrise 💰

Everything was has expected. Overall clean, nice pool with sun, bed ok, very good buffet, close to the beach (walking distance). The only thing bad for us was the amount of children (too many, splashy and loud around the pool). But would still definitely go again! :)

Close to Patong central areas. Daily breakfast was terrible - don’t go after 9 (closes 1030) they don’t keep replacing food and limited options. No umbrellas for shade in pool area. Beds are hard as a rock although they did provide a topper when asked. Front reception is terrible - no customer service skills. Spa is not staffed and ready for service had to wait for 30 mins for staff to arrive and then had 3 staff sit in spa talking whilst having massage.

I absolutely loved it! The cleanliness, the staff and amazed at how affordable.

I was really impressed with the staffs, they are very kind and helpful, specially Gun, the manger in the dining room, always very pleasant and ready to help, she really cares about her customers. The staffs in the lobby are also great, very helpful and friendly specially Aldulraman, very friendly guy and very helpful. Overall, I had a great experience at Bauman residence and will definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Patong.

Good hotel for this price. Great location in Patong- easily walkable to the beach, shops, mall, Bangla Road etc. Hotel is clean and rooms sizeable. Mostly quiet, although some noises in the corridor late at night when people return from the bars (sometimes with 'visitors'). A/C in rooms is good and effective. Overall good. On-site restaurant is decent and food is of a good quality (although you'll find a wealth of cheaper and more varied options walkable from the hotel). Staff are friendly and helpful. Standard of English is mostly good. I did have trouble arranging transport from the airport on arrival but this is not a problem- you can easily get a taxi from outside the airport when you arrive (fare should be 800 THB as of March 2024). Arranging a taxi back to the airport at the end of my stay was easy with reception (fare was 900 THB). The pool area is large and secluded. However, it is ageing and needs some care and attention. Lots of chipped tiles and the water was murky and not as clean as I would have liked. There is a small problem with pigeons, who sit on the surrounding balconies and sometimes defecate into the pool below. This did not prevent the majority of people swimming and certainly is no more dirty than most seas and rivers, but if you are sensitive to this sort of thing this is something to bear in mind. Overall this is a good hotel for the price and I was satisfied with my stay here.

Very indifferent front desk staff. Very poor cleanliness of rooms (there was a large locust in our room when we arrived).

Rooms were clean...staff was good..pool and restaurant was good..massage inside....easy to find hotel from airport...15 min walk to beach..food markets..mall..etc....beds were hard like box mattress..brown sink water...water shower and tub temp inconsistent..staff has hard time understanding english...

First of all it is NO WAY A FOUR STAR. I would put it 2.5 Star hotel. Reasons: 1. Bed were pathetically hard. Bedding were thin and poor quality 2. Amenities were mediocre - No coffee maker - No iron, - No microwave - Low quality soap and shampoo 3. Extremely hard and uncomfortable beds to sleep. Got back issues after spending 4 nights. 4. Hotel is noisy and rooms doesn't go dark with so many lights from AC units Service: WORST among all. We reached there at 12 PM. We were told that you will get room only at 2 PM even though they were ready. They made 9 guest waiting till 2 pm to give rooms. Not enough place to sit in lobby. At 2 pm all 9 were now in queue to get rooms which took full 30 min more for us to get keys. Hotel will not consider it late. Deposit was asked in CASH. You have carry your receipt to take refund back. This is only one hotel where I saw this. This is scam. If rooms are not given without cash deposit then why you need to carry receipt till last day to get cash refund.

The hotel staff barely speak English. Considering the lack of both communication skill and hospitality spirit, Bauman Residence is one of the worst choice on Patong beach. I could have list all the uncomfortable experiences, but it would probably be waste of time as both the hotel staff and managers didn't care about the customers at all. I would rather choose backpacker's hostel instead of this place...

Amazing hotel, friendly and helpful staff (special thanks to Tong for his help and fun friendly nature) We had an amazing time at this hotel, beautiful pool, wifi was a little slow, but overall we were very glad we had chosen to stay here.

The hotel is just about 20 mins walk to Jungceylon. The location is great. The pool and gym are nice. Rooms are reasonable in size and clean. However, the toilet need some cleaning especially the shower cubicle and it’s great if the hotel could install a rack for guest to put their body shower and shampoo in the shower area.
