A fantastic locally run hotel, the free shuttle into town was fantastic, the free breakfast was stellar, and the staff were so friendly. We highly recommend Acadia Inn!

I must admit I don't love a "motel" set up when traveling. I prefer interior hallways and room entrances. However, this was the cutest little place. The owners were onsite, the room was large and extremely clean, the breakfast was a beautiful spread in a really lovely common area ~ I was pleasantly surprised. We loved every moment of our stay.

Transportation to Bar Harbor was a great option. The service staff was great. Room’s are dated but clean. The breakfast was better than expected.

We had a wonderful stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly. Island Explorer stopped at the door. Overall it was superior. Would definitely recommend it.

Having never been to Bar Harbor, i didnt know what to expect. The hotel staff from front desk to pool area, where very friendly. Everyone was so willing to help with every question I had. I will mist definitely be back.

We had a great stay at your hotel. The staff, at the front desk, housekeeping and the breakfast room, are all helpful and courteous. The room was clean and comfortable. Being close to Bar Harbor and having the shuttle as an option was very helpful. We will recommend the hotel to others.

Loved this place! Very friendly staff, wonderful backyard for the kids plus extra activities like smores, movie night and trail mix station. East to drive into town just a few minutes away. Clean room with big bathroom. We loved the hot tub after long hikes too.

Staff, from front desk to housekeeping, food services, and maintenance were simply exceptional. The 7 day stay exceeded my expectations by far! I already recommended the Acadia Inn to friends!

This was our first time at this property and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean and beautiful. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great. The breakfast was very good every morning and there was coffee and other drinks available into the evening. There is a free bus shuttle to take you to various points in the area including Bar Harbor and Acadia Park. There are a few places to eat within walking distance. Lovely place.

First visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. I had expected to be able to walk to locations in town from the hotel based on description. Island Explorer bus was easy and convenient though.
Nice amenities included s’mores by the fire pit and DIY trail mix. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was typical for large hotel. Fresh blueberries every morning were amazing!

Very clean and comfortable. Very nice pool. Good breakfast. Super friendly staff. Just a bit far from downtown, but we made use of the free shuttle or got some exercise and walked. It’s about a 30 minute walk to get downtown.

The staff at the hotel makes the difference. They were wonderful—everyone from the front desk to housekeeping to the breakfast crew and support staff around the property. They also specialize in focusing on the kid's stay with planned activities available for them.
Our room was clean and they actually came in during the day and remade the bed, unlike so many other hotels nowadays. Well worth the price, would happily stay there again.

We loved the stay, the staff was very friendly and always smiling, location is perfect, rooms were cleaned on time everyday, breakfast was awesome and they had lemonade and other drinks available all day!! Close to Bar Harbor and can walk or take shuttle, family friendly, loved everything!

Very lovely place to stay, a good option for Bar Harbor. The only negative is the shower was rather complicated and the tap was broken.

Excellent stay. Great location close to Acadia. Great service. Good breakfast with fresh cut fruit and berries. Breakfast staff very attentive making sure breakfast fresh and always in stock. Family friendly Movie on lawn in the evening, good toiletries and nice beds.

The room was clean and updated. We travelled with 3 teens, and there was enough floor space for one to use the inflatable bed mat. Breakfast and trail mix were great. Seemed to have many on-site activities planned too! The shuttle to Bar Harbor was a great perk!

This was a wonderful place to stay with children! Extremely friendly and so many activities for the kids. The playground is great for getting energy out as well.

Location is a little outside of town, but there is a free shuttle bus. A walking trail leads you right into the carriage road system of Acadia NP.
Breakfast items are good and plentiful. I just wish hotels would stop using plastic serving items for breakfast. This one at least used paper plates and bowls.

Loved our stay at The Acadia Inn. The hotel was convenient. The room was very clean and the breakfast was very good. The front desk personnel were friendly, helpful, and efficient. We could not ask for a better place to stay in Bar Harbor!

Great location! There was a nice hiking path to Acadia and there were many restaurants close by. They also had activies such as s'mores and DIY trail mixes, both were great. Staff was very nice and helpful! We would definitely stay here again!

Great location. Close enough to town to possibly walk, but a free bus stops by frequently throughout the day to drop you middle of town. Hotel rate much more reasonable than in town. Breakfast was great!
