Hotel is dirty burn stains on the bed clothes. Floor dirty and sticky. The bathroom was full of stains.

I called 2 x to confirm reservation and the person who answered the phone did not ask for name or phone nr. Nothing. Just said you have reserved rooms.
Check in was bad, a man came out of a room right behind reception and just gave us keys. No info on anything. The rooms and the entire place stank of curry and mold, with walls like they were hit by something not even repaired.
Rooms from the 60s, with mold stench so bad we left after 1 minute.
Receptionist not attentive, v passive and answering phone 2 x did not state the name of the hotel or his name.
Do yourself a favor and don’t go. You are better off sleeping in your car.

The room had a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The fluorescent light in the bathroom flickered and took 10 minutes to turn on. The smoke detector had plastic wrap around it. We did not feel safe and didn't stay the night.

Make sure you watch everything at check in, they took a copy of my id and card. When I confronted them, the manager ripped it up in front of my face. They double charged me also and didn’t refund me until again the manager had to called.

Terrible! Photos are very deceiving.what a dump, check in is awful. You have to ring a door bell and wait for the “staff” to come let you in. The sign outside is half lit. The door handle to the room was broken and “staff” had to show us how to jiggle the handle to open the door. The room smelled stale. I almost took the loss and booked another place. Definitely not worth $159!!!! Looks like a flop house. Do not stay here

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here, even if it’s the last place available. The place is old and poorly run. I checked in and got to my room only to be met with MOLD ALL ON THE WALL AND WINDOW! The room reeked of an air freshener probably due to the room smelling moldy. I wanted to cancel my reservation but he already checked me in so I had to go through hotels.com to get a refund on my non-refundable reservation. I called Rosemont monday 2/12/24 because they had not responded to my refund request made through hotels.com. The manager, I cannot remember his name but of Indian descent, explained there was nothing he could do because I did not cancel within 24hrs prior to my stay. I explained I would not have canceled if the room didn’t have mold in it. All he keeps saying was “thank you, goodbye” “nothing I could do, goodbye” and I kept explaining to him the right thing to do is refund my money due to the mold. He said “there’s nothing I can do, goodbye” “sir how many times do I have to say goodbye” until he finally HUNG UP ON ME! What a rude and disrespectful manager and now I am out $150. I will be pursuing further actions against this place because it is incredibly unhealthy what they are doing

We arrived shortly after check in time of 3pm, we were very confused as to where the actual entrance was, we finally found it and tried to find the “front desk” to check in, there is no front desk, there was a few men sitting in chairs the minute you walk in the front door which was awkward, we asked where the front desk was so we could check in, he asked my name and got me my room swipe card, so that’s the check in process apparently, I booked a SMOKING room and was told we were in a NON SMOKING room 😐 was not happy about that, after a few swipes, the card finally worked and we were in the room, the room was spacious and fairly clean, which was a relief after booking the room then reading the reviews afterwards, no weird smells either, besides the awkwardness of the staff just sitting at the front door and loud people in the hallway, we did sleep pretty well surprisingly

Construction!! Does that mean they can't even clean the mirrors in the room?! I know You're doing construction but could you at least sweep the soda dust off the floor good thing I ask for a room from you. And I wish 2 men that didn't speak a word of English weren't trying to put the border in the doorway of the entry way to my room when I had to stop taking a shower to answer the pounding on the door so that they could Continue their construction des Despite it now, being almost 7 PM. And there's the song still saying all the 2 by 4's exaggerate etc of wood right out in the hallway of the hotel.

Room was dirty, sheets not clean hair on the bed dirty bottles and trash under bed and night stand, paint and hair in tub and sinks. Floor dirty made our socks black. No remote to tv had to call front desk 3 times and kept being hung up on.

We walked into the room and there was mud dried on the carpet. I opened a drawer in the kitchenette and found a roach. it looked like it was dying but it was still alive. We did not stay. I tried to talk to the manager but he walked away from me.

Ring a doorbell- no check-in desk or ID verification. No receipt. Smell was overpowering. Clerk came out of the first room with a folder and handed us the key cards, directing us ‘down there’. Opened room to more odors. Open the drapes and saw carpeting had huge stains. On closer look, numerous pieces of copper wire all over the carpet. Returned to the clerks room and complained. He sent someone to vacuum. Bathroom- no toilet paper holder - stored on the edge of the tub. Electric outlets not secured and had no covers. An old dirty sock in the kitchenette drawer and mouse trap under the sink. Renovations upstairs very noisy.

I never leave reviews about hotels, because I never really expect anything over the top. What I DO expect, is for the place to at least be cleaned before we get there. We walked in, to dirt and ash over every surface. Blatant grime in the showers, the place hadn’t been vacuumed in idfk… days at this point (I’m hoping it actually gets vacuumed). The grossest stains imaginable on the couch and curtains of the room. Bed sheets were clean, which I give props for… but everything else was nasty. The man who checked us in was a sweetheart though.

It was absolutely horrible. The carpet was very very dirty and smelly, stains everywhere. The room smelled very bad. The curtains smelled very bad, water stains in the curtains, the tub was not cleaned, bathroom sing not cleaned, the mirrors were very very dirty. We had no TV signals throughout the entire stay. when we requested another room, management said all of the rooms are the same. Circumstances were very unsanitary! We decided to sleep in the car throughout the rest of our stay. I wouldn’t recommend the Rosemont suites at Norwich on my worst enemy! Very disappointing! We didn’t take photos, although we do have video of the room, which we will be uploading very soon.

I am going to give my honest review when i arrived at the hotel the indian guy was at the door with a piece a paper no desk no office nothing that was a red flag already.
When i went to room 111 and i open that door OMG the smell of MOLD and WET carpet was horrible you couldn't breath. You can smell and feel the mold in the air. Was horrible behind the couch the carpet was full of mold and dust it was so bad that that i talk to the guys and told him that the room smell and has mold that im sorry but i would like to get a different room. I want it to leave and not stay as soon i saw and smell the room but i knew that the guy was going to refuse to give me my money he said the room was fine. When he show me another room was the same smell broken bathroom door i just walk out i said im sorry but this is bad and unacceptable i want my refund my husband has asthma health problem and that will make it worse. Asthma or not the place is not a hotel looks more a shelter is gross nasty dirty horrible the owner at the hotel refuse to give me refund and there's nothing wrong. Very sad i have to go crazy find another hotel online took me like 3 hours and paid again and more money because the hotel owner keep my money very easy way to earn money.

There is no check-in desk (2 men sitting inside of the front door with a 3-ring binder) containing key cards. After check-in no one is visibly on duty.
The rear door is held open with a rock. The front door does not open with our key card.
Several room features are turned off (TV's cable, lamps), both lamps have no light bulb, one has a broken switch), or not functioning (WIFI signal is strong but carrying no Internet connection, A/C does not cool).

I got there late (11pm) and the owner/manager was sitting in the lobby in his pajamas. Handed me the key and I went to my room, which smelled of smoke so I had a hard time sleeping. It was suppose to be a non-smoking room. The next morning I was going to heat up some food for breakfast and I found a plate in the microwave that had literally been in there for weeks, if not months. Picture included. I thought I was going to throw up. I took the owner/manager down to show him and he took it like oooops. He even agreed it had been there months. No offer of discount, refund. Never ever stay in this place. Most disgusting place I’ve ever stayed and I stay in hotels for 3 months out of the year. Hotels.com please stop promoting this horrible place. Pee stain on the sheets also.
