Had an amazing stay. Emma was very friendly and helpful when checking in. I really liked that they used a code instead of key cards to enter the room. The location is great, walking distance to just about everything. Paula's pancake house and solvang brewing company is right across the street. This was a perfect weekend getaway stay.. we were in town for the Danish days festival. Highly recommend this place.

We had a family gathering in our hometown of Solvang on Labor Day weekend. The Hamlet has been in town since we were little kids and we're now in our 60's. Super clean and comfortable with the Scandi esthetic of warm wood floors and simple decor. Right in town, walkable to everything, and a staff that made everyone feel at home during our short stay. I should mention the price was also great considering the holiday - everything else in town was much higher. Would definitely stay again on my next visit!

Quick electronic checkin was appreciated! Refurbished rooms were nice. The bed was comfortable on one side, but the other side was very indented. Need to replace the mattress in Room 5. Location was fabulous in walking distance to everything in Solvang. Right across the street from Paula’s Pancakes! Will stay there again!

My family and I really enjoyed the stayed , it was the easiest check in and check out process. Everyone was super friendly. Our room consisted of a king and full size bed the room was clean the ac was amazing.

The bed in room 12 was terrible and needs to be replaced. It is not good when you lay down and your feet are higher than the rest of your body. The window in the bathroom did not close. This is a safety issue while staying on the first floor. The deadbolt was also accessible from the outside making us feel unsafe.

The shower pressure was terrible. The window in the bathroom was unable to close completely. We were on the bottom floor (only one floor level in hotel/motel) and it was uncomfortable taking a shower knowing that someone could walk up to the window and look inside. Also, the window is large enough for a fit adult to fit through. We were in the room right next to the hotels dumpster and were getting smells of trash since we couldn't close the window.

Everything was great except for the fact that my bedroom wasn't clean at all.
There were 3 dark long hairs in the shower, and the area under the bed and the bedside tables was dirty and hadn't been vacuumed in days.
That was quite upsetting.

The property needs an ice maker. Also, each room should have a single serve coffee maker instead of instant coffee. Access to a microwave would be nice. We stayed four nights and had to ask the housekeepers for clean towels after two nights.

Check-in was completely contactless, and they even let us check in early when we arrived. Communication with Hamlet Inn was easy, and they were very quick to respond to messages and calls. The room was really nice, clean, and convenient - within walking distance of all the tastings rooms and shops downtown.

Basic hotel but clean and close to shops and food. You get a code to enter your room. Did not see a staff member, but I did not need anything. Comfortable European style.

We really enjoyed Solvang. The Hamlet Inn was an average accommodation as expected. One thing we noticed was the bed was quite hard.

Beds were very firm, so not comfortable. The bathroom was sparse, so nowhere to put down your stuff. It is in the heart of Solvang and convenient to sights and amenities. Overall, it's just an above average motel.
