Of all the motel / hotel stayed in on this trip this was the best so far. Modern , clean , great look, patio area, easy access with key code sent by email.

The room was comfortable and extremely clean. All appliances worked well and there were ample supplies in the cupboards. It was a really lovely motel and good value for money but it just didn't work for us.
We did not like the contactless check in or check out. We prefer to stay in the places with a person on site.

Check in was a self check in, which was a little unexpected as I missed the text message that was sent, however it was ok. The room was very clean and refurbished, except the bathroom. Overall it was very comfortable and met expectations.

We had a lovely stay while in Port Fairy for a family celebration. The room was ideal and was spacious enough that we were able invite some family back to have a coffee before they headed home.

While the room has been nicely presented and comfortable inside, the big trucks road noise of the A1 woke us during the night and morning, including another room exiting at 6:30am. On arriving reception was closed, with a contactless check-in procedure note on the door with instructions to call a number to find out your room number and door code. It was so impersonal. It felt like Covid revisited!

No one spoke English at the property and when we called the help number they told us to talk with the staff on site when we told them repeatedly no one spoke English.

There was no one at reception. They were suppose to text and email the code to our rooms but didn't. We had to call to get the code for the room and the person at the other end had bad reception so it took a few calls to get the code. We had to hunt for towels.

No notification of checkin arrangements. Very frustrating and blamed wotif. Finally confirmed that we had two rooms as booked. Not on site. Will stay elsewhere next time we are in the area.

Mattress is quite hard for me and location is quite far from town (20-30 mins walk). Need a car to drive to town to eat etc. It’s clean and quite quiet. We didn’t see any staff but we didn’t need their assistance. The self-checkin is very easy.

The room was clean, bed comfortable, towels very thin only one face washer. Kettle had to be filled from the shower, didn’t fit under the only tap in the bathroom. Not even a biscuit!
