Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price was great. My unit was a bit dated but everything worked. If you book "Flat 1" be aware there will be people running around upstairs. Didn't bother us much because we had two noisy toddlers anyway but if you want quiet, book a different room. I would definitely rebook at this holiday park in future despite the minor downfalls. The river view is beautiful and Paihia only 5 or 10 min away by car.

My partner, myself, my daughter and my two grandchildren staued the night in the sunshine house..
We were attending my mums funeral and it was the perfect place to rest, align, relax and prepare emotionally for the funeral held the bext day..
We were opposite the river which was very tranquil and peaceful..
Our accommodation was perfectly clean and we could not fault anything..
We are thinking to return again for a holiday retreat..

I really liked our room and the activities that were available amazing water view 😍 the surroundings and I must say the two lovely staff that we had meet there and also 😀 a note with my ame on it giving me instructions on where and what considering we arrived so late at night thank you so much for a great stay 😀

The unit we had was spacious. Nice linen. Basic needs met. I didn’t like no one available after 6 pm when a fuse blew because we had one too many appliance on!! Communication was really good though when available.

Nice campground. For the first night we were placed in a rather damp and rundown "toursit flat" which was not what was booked as what had booked was already full. The helpful staff then moved us to the much nicer cabin we had booked.
Good location to access both Kerikeri and Bay of Islands!

Didn't like the state of the showers and toilets, the fact that our room backed onto the communal kitchen and dining room and tv room.

Common area facilities were good although we stayed in a self contained lodge we could have used the shared kitchen and pay-for-use barbeque.The site itself is in a great location next to a river.The only small negative is that the sites for the camping/motor home pitches seemed close together and on one night there was a family gathering near to where we were so it was noisier than we had expected.

The property was great for our needs. We had 4 grandchildren with us aged 7 to 2 and our stay accommodated them also. From a great play area with an awesome bush walk to a great cabin with a beautiful view, we loved it!!!

Really great place to stay, the cabins are cozy and warm in the winter. Great bathroom block, was very clean. The best thing was that each cabin gets a locker in the kitchen with your own utensils during your stay. Would definitely stay again.

Absolutely ENJOYED our long weekend stay. We had an amazing room, with blankets and towels which i didnt expect being a holiday park.. staff are amazing. So child friendly, also free hot water for showers.

Loved the river and the cleanliness of the place. Staff were really nice too. Didn't like the couches, they are a bit too old and soft because of the use, but who goes there to sit?
