Great location- walkable to downtown. The rooms are very cute, and its pretty quiet. The breakfast is really good, and they offer a free wine and cheese hour at their sister property. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Walkable to everything my husband and i wanted to do. Lovely, peaceful, and friendly. I just hope they fix that door on suite 205 which was loud and difficult to open and close! I would definitely revisit Gilded!

Amazing - beautiful hotel with superb staff!

It was very comfortable stay in the great location. Hotel itself is unique and cute. The girl at the reception desk, that was there for the first two days during our stay, was exceptionally friendly, informative and accommodating. Her name is Mila and she’s a treasure !

Staffs were very helpful and considerate. Will come back in future.

Anniversary stay for a long weekend in Newport. I would definitely book again. Gilded had a great breakfast every morning and the staff was nice. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Easy to walk to all things Newport while being set back a bit so it was quiet. It is in an old home, so we had an issue with the bathroom. Staff addressed it promptly and didn't have a problem for the rest of the trip.

We loved our stay. The room was wonderful...clean and quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the blackout curtains and loved the easy walk to Thames street.

Breakfast and happy hour were great.

Gilded is unique and creatively decorated. It’s in a quiet neighborhood and very close to shops and numerous dining options. Breakfasts were very tasty with low-carb and gluten-free options offered each day. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Great location and place to stay. The bedding and linens were extremely soft and felt like they just came out of the wash!

Another gem of a B&B in Newport! Loved our room. Breakfast was excellent, although travelers should note that it's served more like a buffet, instead of personal service. Great decor throughout. Very nice sitting room. Spacious and private outdoor patio. Convenient to everyting in Newport. Our only gripe: super low water pressure, and the toilet took like 10 minutes to refill in between flushes. But let's face it - these are old gracious homes, and some of that comes with the vintage age! Would definitely go back here!

Our stay at Gilded was wonderful. It’s a boutique bed and breakfast at a great location with access to all Newport attractions. Would definitely visit and book here again. Staff was very helpful, easy to communicate with, and had great suggestions for the area.

We had an issue with our AC and they moved us to a sister B&B. Easy and smooth transition and much appreciated. Great Staff

What a beautiful & rare gem. From the moment you pull up to the property you know it’s going to be very special & it is. Thoughtfully & fabulously decorated with such a beautiful style. The staff is warm & friendly. Breakfast is included and quite delicious!! It’s easy to walk around to restaurants within 5-10 mins. Awesome stay!!

Just okay. Not up to the standard of other Lark Hotels we've stayed at. The shower was so small it was difficult to actually take a shower even for a petite person. In addition our room showed signs of not being very clean. Rings of sticky substance from glasses on the nightstand which cleaned right up with a wet tissue and soap. Nice staff and breakfast as usual, however, we would choose other Lark properties in Newport over this one.

While we had a lovely stay with wonderful staff, we were underwhelmed by a few things that could have improved our stay. For the value that we paid, we wish there had been coffee or tea in our rooms, decaf coffee or other milks as an option in the morning (very surprising that there were neither!), the tapas breakfast was just ok, our tv didn't allow us to log-in to the smart tv apps like Netflix, the wine hour at the partnering hotel was not worth the walk (there seemed to be no reason why the same offering wasn't at our hotel). There was no space in the bathroom to put toiletries and the toilet should have been oriented in a different direction especially for those with longer legs. On the pro side, it was very clean and we loved the fireplace in our room. It was also a great location! But we travel a lot, and we expected more from a boutique hotel for the very high price we paid.

Excellent property. We stayed on the 3rd floor which was a bit of a pain, but otherwise very nice.

The room we stayed at had a weird bathroom smell and the toilet bowl setting was not comfortable. Ants were spotted throughout the room. Staff did explained that this is due to the recent rain and change of weather.

We enjoyed our stay at Gilded and would come back again. The property is so colorful and inviting and we appreciated the hospitality. Free breakfast in the mornings was delicious. Easy walk to shops and restaurants in the area

The staff was friendly and my room was super cute! I loved how intentional they were with their small plates for breakfast. The only issue I had was with parking. There aren’t enough parking spaces for the visitors. However, if I am ever back in the area, I would consider revisiting.

I loved my stay at the Gilded. I thought it was so cute and adorable. I loved the color choice inside the hotel for all of the rooms. The staff was amazing and provided delicious breakfast each morning. It’s just off Bellevue Ave, some stores/restaurants on Bellevue were in walking distance. I felt safe and comfortable.

Best night's sleep in a hotel in a while. I had to look up the brand of pillows they used it was that good. It's a three story walk up, so plan for that depending on how you're getting around. Staff is super friendly.

Upscale modern spin on the golden era while visiting the Newport Mansions. Gorgeous design and clever adaptations more than offset undersized rooms (compared to a typical American hotel chain). Lovely!
