This was for a last minute stay and this location worked out. While older building the room was great. Had some amenities and a clean bathroom with shower. Definitely will stay here in a pinch

I never think about staying anywhere else when in town for business.
If you want a VERY OVERPRICED, (which just about everything in this city is) all the fancy “frills”, restaurants in the Hotel, etc. then you probably shouldn’t stay here. However, if you want an unbelievably inexpensive, always friendly staff, not “tons” of Security Officers, but I have never felt unsafe here, simple clean rooms then you cannot come close to finding anything remotely close to The “Roxy”, and literally in the heart of Hollywood.

this cannot possibly be considered a real hotel by any means
the reservation/payment system was "down" when i checked in so they ended up charging me more for my stay that what was confirmed via hotels.com
the "parking" in an alley on the side barely the width of 1.75 cars that you have to try and squeeze into one of 5 spots and have to back out since there's no where to turn around
don't ever, every stay here with anyone that you care about.
again, this is not a real hotel by any means... it's a run-down, super noisy/decrepit motel at best

While you wouldn’t expect it from seeing it being it’s on a busy Hollywood street, the Roxy was a nice very quiet hotel. It was comfortable and had just the basic amenities but it was well kept up and the staff was very accommodating q

Stayed here just for one night because i was going to a concert. Positive: inexpensive room, in walking desert to venue. Negatives: No AC traffic on the street was loud. Overall you get what you pay for. Honestly I was only in the room just to sleep and that was it.

I am quite sure the last time they painted the walls was the first time they built the structure!

They had no ac, tv, did not work, no ice machine, no parking, cigarette holes all over bed. Clothes from last persons stay left behind bed NOT CLEAN OR SAFE

The lack of customer service is to say the least. If you are looking for a shady (and not the palm trees) run down room in a sketchy part of town, you have found your hidden gem! Very dissatisfied all around. Also, no AC unit. No guests. One key and one key only. Pay the extra and go somewhere else.

Very bad experience, room is very dirty, bed is very small, and you cannot event use credit card to pay, they will let you get cash from an ATM and it has transaction fee.

It was good... It served it's purpose. Nothing expectacular but comfortable enough to sleep. The service it's good. The owner and his Family are great people The Fair and understanding.

No air-conditioning, not enough outlet plugs to charge my cell phone. No extension cords available. Worst place i have ever stayed at my whole life. Plus not enough parking available. I would rate this place a -1 , on a 1-10 scale!

absolutely sure of bed bugs and am demanding a full reimbursement before a lawsuit due to inappropriate hotel employees. Do not stay here unless you have your own sheets and/ or are desperate to be eaten alive

Always nice and helpful staff. First impression of the facility (based on the area) might give the wrong "first impression".
I have stayed several times without issues. I even sleep with the window wide open at night for the amazing cool breeze. Always secure. It's a basic, no frills, no A/C, but it just depends on your budget, etc. I am a "forever" fan.
