The noise at night goes right through the roof. We could hear our neighbors as if they were sitting on our porch. You will need ear plugs , dogs and roosters wake you up early morning. We stayed 4 nights and it was the same breakfast everyday. We asked for an extra egg and they said no. Definitely do not get enough water , you want more you have to pay. Other than this it was very nice. Staff friendly , pool refreshing, liked that you can rent scooters right from this resort. Only 3 available, but we had fun . Yoman was very nice😊

Probably the nicest place to stay on Penida island. The room was very clean and safe. Pool was perfect and the restaurant food was way better than I expected. A con would be the traffic nice with the nearby street.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Coco Resort and would recommend it anyone. The staff was so helpful and friendly and were ways available to help us figure out any necessary details during our stay. Our driver was amazing at navigating the roads and would wait for us when we were out exploring different attractions, no matter how long it took. The included breakfast was yummy and we really liked the nearby restaurants and cafes as well. We would definitely choose to stay here again if (and when) we're back :)

The limited number of villas. Always some space available around the pool. The villas themselves were unique in design.

The location close to crystal bay, and staff is very helpful A plus. Basic amenities such as toilet and showers are sufficient for westerners due to being on an island. Please keep Nusa Penida clean, so we all can continue enjoy this beautiful place.

Great service, nice pool area and information about the island. Very sound sensitive and in the condition of a three star resort at the most. Straff brings up the review significantly. There are a few restaurant within walking distance but it’s located quite remotely. However, the restaurant on the property is okay, the Balinese cuisine is terrific.

Beautiful location and very friendly helpful staff. It is off beaten track so expect a more rural soundtrack. Be nice if they had fresh coconut there given they are called Coco ;)

Coco is quiet, clean, and the individual huts make you feel like you're camping in style. Breakfast is okay, but is a nice convenience at the local rate so I'd recommend adding that on. Take advantage of the full day tours around the island, spa services, and scooter rental if you feel adventurous. The staff speak English well and they're always working to make your stay enjoyable. Coco felt secluded since there isn't much close by, but that's exactly the kind of vibe we were looking for. Crystal bay is your closest beach/site as it's only a 10 minute drive away. All other main attractions are going to take over 30 minutes to get to. I would highly recommend staying at Coco resort.

Nice hotel close to Crystal Bay. Terrible driveway where two accidents occurred in one day.

We actually planned to stay here 4 nights, however as soon as after entering the room, we noticed weird smell in the room and it took almost 4 hours to even have the room reached at 25C, which was still very inconvenient for me and my wife. There were lizards running around all over the place and making weird sounds during the night time. The only good thing about this was a nice breakfast in the morning, that is pretty much all. It is definitely not worth 65 US dollars a night type of hotel. If I could, I would not pay more than 20 bucks.

Beautiful resort in a coconut oasis. A bit away from the main village/harbour but in our opinion the best spot to stay on the island, a short ride to Crystal Bay. Awesome and big bungalows, nice pool, delicious food in their restaurant and all of the staff was super friendly and helpful. Definitely one of our best stays during our trip and I think best resort on Nusa Penida. Really recommended! Also owned by a Balinese woman which is cool:)

I booked this hotel after spending a lot of time researching the island, where the main sights were and proximity to a port as I knew the roads are horrendous and they really are! I booked this resort after spending time reading all the trip advisor reviews and having stayed at coco what you read really is what you get! ITS FANTASTIC! Rani the manager is a true asset to the place. She helped us organise all our stay; the scooter, transfer to and from the port for the ferry, day trips including swimming with mantas (which we were lucky enough to see). She’s warmly, approachable and really funny! Whilst we were there it was my husbands 30th birthday. Rani decorated the place with banners, balloons, candles, flowers and an array of cakes were left in the room for us. For us, the downsides were what others had said. The bungalows are wicker/thatch roofs which means you can hear a lot of noise outside (lots of roosters) and people in near by bungalows. Having said that, it was no biggy and I’d already expected it from previous reviews. All the resorts on Penida are relatively remote and with it going pitch black by 7pm meant that I wasn’t keen on venturing out on a scooter after dark given the nature of the Island. Therefore we are every night at the resort. The menu is relatively small But the food is tasty and cheap! We didn’t want to move on! Really loved the place and will definitely return should we come back to Bali.

My flight was cancelled because of the vulcano, I asked to cancel reservation or at least to move to another date. They reached me the world NON refundable well repeating it many times...not really the spirit that made the island well known internationally...

Service and cleanliness was fantastic, really enjoyed our stay except for the noisy guests next door. The huts seem to not be sound-proof at all, I could hear a conversation happening even though they were speaking at a reasonable volume. Movies that other guests were watching in the evening could also be clearly heard.

This resort exceeded our expectations! The rooms were so cozy and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We would highly recommend staying here!

This is perfect. Everything was great. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bungalow was clean and spacious. Defenetly come Back here.

We stayed 2 nights here and the resort is beautiful and staff are very friendly. The rooms are spaciou, the restaurant is good and the pool is awesome. It is close to Crystal Bay where the snorkelling is awesome. Will definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Nusa Penida.

Wonderful stay solo at Coco Penida Resort. Staff organised my transport from Sanur with Angel Billabong fast boats. 165,000rp one way, they pick you up in a van from the harbour to resort which is nestled in the jungle a real village feel here. Crystal Bay is 10 minutes away by bike which you can hire from resort or walk is 20 minutes. There you can go to Manta Bay and snorkel or dive with the huge Manta Rays - I saw 3 beasts. If your lucky you can see the Mola Mola in July/August.. Staff and grounds are beautiful, spa was fab. A lot of couples here. I found the food to be a bit tasteless like the Nasi/Mie Goreng. Breakfast menu is simple, perhaps some extras like Avodaco smash, sausages, mushrooms etc. Rani the manager is lovely and willing to help any way she can. Pool ladies are also lovely. Place is spotless. Give yourself a few days here as there is a lot to explore. The lumbug bungalows are perfect, comfortable all facing the pristine pool. Thank you to all of you. x
