Darthmouth House is a beautiful old house in a lovely residential neighborhood of Rochester, with big, old trees and lots of flowers. The house has a lot of character as does the neighborhood. I loved walking through these streets. The breakfasts were delicious and the staff so friendly and hospitable. It was fun to get to know some of the other guests in the breakfast room. For an experience of old Rochester, I recommend staying in this charming inn.

the staff was extremely helpful. The breakfast was wonderful. It is in a large house and each room is its own layout. We were on the top floor suite with an outside porch. the only downside is that meant climbing 2 flights of stairs every time we went up and down. Not a problem since we did not have to shlep our bags up by ourselves, but pay attention as to which floor you are on if climbing stairs is an issue. we would definitely stay there again.

Lovely neighborhood and very nice rooms.

This was a great place for a couple for 1 night in Rochester. The room was nice and so was the breafast and the breakfast room. The location was convenient for walking to dinner and driving in and out of the city.

It was very nice! Staff were excellent! I wish I could walk to restaurant a bit easier. On the other hand, that's why it was nice ad quiet!

I think the inside off the property was beautiful and the rooms were incredibly comfortable. Parking was a little tight, but workable with the number of folks staying on the property. Surrounding neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. The breakfast each day was delicious, and the hospitality couldn't have been nicer. They really couldn't have been any more accommodating. Would stay here again if I'm in the area and need a place to stay. Greg and Milena were just the best.

Nice comfortable house in a residential neighborhood. Really enjoyed my stay. It was cozy. Bathroom was newly renovated and clean. Had much more character than a larger hotel.

An unassuming large house on a quiet treed street near downtown. Nice period decor but nothing fancy. Bed was very soft and comfy but would not work well for anyone needing firm support. Super breakfast with made-to-order stuffed savory crepes and moist, dense and yummy muffin as well as cereals, OJ and tea/coffee. Room was big but not set up for easy business use. Nice common lounge. Limited on-site parking but plenty available on the street.

The walk to the third floor via steps. It is modeled for mobile tourists who bring in their own vehicles. The room needs a space heater. The neighborhood setting was divine. Room was spacious and adequately equipped. Bathroom was well-maintained.

This is a nicely restored house with updated bathroom and small refrigerator in the room. It is surrounded by many other restored houses making it an interesting neighborhood. Just a half mile away was a district of many fun restaurants.

It was quiet and had everything I needed. Third floor lodging without elevator inconvenient; parking cramped and inconvenient; no desk or workspace in room. Plain adequate furnishing but bed too squishy and soft. On the whole too expensive for what it offers.

Great place! Bed & breakfast vibes, staff was very nice and helpful, bed was SUPER comfortable and shower was nice as well. I would definitely stay again.

My room was luxurious with both tub and large shower. Neighborhood was quiet. Staff were excellent and friendly and breakfast was delicious. Will stay here again and will recommend.
