Front desk at check in was not very friendly nor considerate. Others who arrived after us were given their rooms before we did. We arrived early but weren't checked in until after the 4:00 check in time.

Was in town for work for a day, and this facility was perfect! The atmosphere was amazing, and everything that was needed was right on the property. Would definitely stay again when in Jackson!

Overall I would give it 3.5

I got there around noon and asked if I could have an early check in, there had only been a few cars parked around there for the days before because I was staying at another hotel and driving over by the Virginian to the RV park to visit so I knew they weren’t busy. The staff was rude and told me no and my room wasn’t ready and check in was at 4 pm. I went back at 3:40pm and they said no check in is at 4 pm. I wouldn’t have stayed the night if I hadn’t already paid for it online. I stayed at the Rusty Parrott for big part of my stay and they let me check in 5hrs early because they weren’t that busy. I’ve never been at a hotel that doesn’t try to accommodate an early arrival if they aren’t busy. I would not suggest the Virginian for anyone that’s used to the nicer things. I only wanted to be by the RV park there for my last day because my kids were staying there for a couple of days.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Virginian! Wish we could have stayed here longer! It was so cute, clean and staff was so friendly! Would definitley stay again!

This place is RAD!! The decor is amazing. The outdoor pool is fantastic in summer. Great place to stay with kids. Complimentary smores for everyone to roast at night. Food is delish, everything is on property! Stay here!!

This is a great property. Everything has been remodeled, and upgraded. Staff is friendly. Rooms are comfortable. You are not walking distance to downtown Jackson, but a short drive is all.

Had a great time with the family here and all the amenities. Only issue was chlorine in hot tub changing bathing suit colors. Hotel made it right and offered reimbursement for ruined suits. Would still stay here again for the pool area, bar on site and two food options.

Absolutely obsessed and loved every single second. The rooms were clean and fun with really vibey decor and look that is perfect for this region. The check in was smooth and super helpful with amenities and a paper full of tips and insight on the area. Our boys loved the pool and courtyard area. Always felt safe and secure while staying on site.

Motel was a little dated and expensive. Price was reasonable for the area. Room was older but clean. Bed was comfortable. The courtyard area was beautiful and great for relaxing. Pool, yard game area, firepits with smores packages available. We ate at Billys Burgers. A little disappointed, food was expensive and not really good. Ate breakfast at the Virginian restaurant for breakfast. It was really good fod, great service and reasonable prices. Nice grass area for pets. Beautiful views and a nice place to stay.

Everything about the Virginian was special! Gorgeous room with space and comfortable bed and furniture! Nice activities around the hotel and plenty of space to relax with outdoor areas!

The front desk staff very kindly helped us out when our flight got cancelled and made it very easy for us to stay in the same room. We had a somewhat noisy spot around the courtyard (lots of live music!) but we enjoyed having things to do at the property. We had a lot of fun using the pool and bar and pool tables. Great place!

The bed is soft n firm no noise

The area was so overpriced during the time that I was there, that my only option for 90 miles was the Virginian for my business meeting. The walls were paper thin and the connecting door between my room and a strangers room had a broken lock that was obviously covered up by housekeeping with a trashcan holding it in place. When I came back to my room after dinner and discovered the door was ajar, I immediately felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I called the front desk and they had no remorse over the scenario except for asking me if I wanted them to call the neighbors to see if they came in my room. I had to pay $600 for that terrible, unsafe motor inn room. The audacity of the customer service was lire low budget than a Motel 6.
