one minute walking distance to the subway connecting Nakata JR Station, very convenient.
Our room was tiny and clean.
Frontdesk staffs were very nice and helpful.
For the first time, we spent some times to look for the main entrance of the hotel from outside.

This is the first time we stayed in Rei Fukuoka and we are very happy with the hotel. Its small but very clean, comfortable and good location. But there is one problem we encountered, there is no hot water in the bidet. But it was resolve right away by Yang San. Will definetly be back here. Thanks Tokyo REI Hotel Fukuoka.

The location is very good. The hotel is located close to Hakata station. Instead of getting lost like I did, crossing pedestrian bridges with a heavy suitcase etc. look for the West 6 exit underground in Hakata station. The area is very quiet at night.
The room was nice, immaculately clean as (almost) always in Japan. The bed was a bit too hard for my liking.
Staff were courteous, although it never ceases to amaze me how difficult it is to communicate in English in Japan, even with people working in the tourism industry. Several times we had to give up on, in my view, pretty straightforward questions. The one who it was the easiest to communicate with was a young female trainee. I hope the hotel hires her on the spot.
Canal City shopping mall is a ten minute walk away from the hotel. A few minutes beyond that is Nakasu which has a lot of yatai food stalls, and across the river from that is an area with a lot of nightlife.
If I ever come back to Fukuoka I'd gladly stay at this hotel again.

enjoyed the shower set up. rooma were clean.the staff was friendly and helpful. assisted us with getting cabs to airport. breakfast buffet was good.

Convenient. Close to Hakarta JR station & Bus Terminal. Air conditioning is very slow to cool down the Triple room. Make sure enough time for air conditioner to cool down the room & adjust to normal temp before sleep, or else it will be too hot before sleep & too cold during sleep.

Hakata Tokyu REI Hotel has excellent connectivity with the Hakata Bus Terminal, JR Hakata Station and surrounding malls through its massive network of underground passes. Hankyu Department Store, KITTE Shipping Mall, Yodobashi Camera, just to name a few, are all within walking distance. What's more, you don't have to travel far to find Ichiran Ramen! Overall it is an excellent place to stay and definitely good value for money.

2nd time visiting Fukuoka, 1st time staying at Tokyu Rei. Location is superb, can't get any better, just a merely 5-min walk to Hakata Station. Our room was spacious comparing to the typical tiny room you usually get for japanese hotel, it can host 3 beds while able to accommodate our 3 large luggages. The wifi could disconnect sometimes but that was relatively small issue.

If I have another chance to visit Fukuoka, I'll definitely stay at Hakata Tokyu REI hotel. My family stayed at a 3 bedroom and that was very spacious and clean. All the staffs were kind and friendly.

Great location if you travel through Hakata station a lot. It is quite far from Tenjin so not ideal if you plan to spend more time in that area.
Room is mostly clean but has various print outs and surfaces that simply collect dust.
Biggest complaint about the room is the layout and lack of hooks in the bathroom. There’s barely enough space to open 1 much less 2 luggages.

The staff was nice and wanted to be helpful however the hotel was not ad expected. The dryer did not work at all in either floor so instead of seeing Hakata we were trying to dry clothes. Yes we know how to use a dryer. It could have been a bit cleaner as well. Very close to the train station which was nice.

Hotel is about 5 to 7 mins walk to the Hakata Station. Close proximity to the Hakata Bus Station too. Breakfast spread is decent and delicious.
Downside was only one washing machine on the 6th and 9th floor only. Long queue for laundry in the evening.
Also, they do not allow luggage storage before arrival as we have to make short trip out to Yufuin and Beppu before coming back to Fukuoka.
