Great-looking cozy hotel, a few minutes walk to Kuta's main streets. Boutiquey, with only a few rooms, it felt quite private. We stayed in a deluxe studio, which was huge and had a semi-outdoor bathroom, nice design and comfy bed. Helpful tips and maps are provided, along with suggestions on what to see and where to eat, go shopping, etc. Scooters can also be rented. The only downside was the bathroom cleanliness, I think it should be cleaned more often especially between guests' stays, the sinks showed no signs of being cleaned before or while we were there. Breakfast was okay but limited to one item on the menu - as no toast was included in the omelette option, we ordered it separately and paid extra for it, a bit of an overcharge by Indonesian standards.

Good people, good bungalows, good food. Close to kuta town but tucked down a quiet lane.

Not as great as advertised. It’s not worth of paying huge money when near by you can get much better service in other hotels.

Very nice property with friendly staff — Hopefully you get to run into Queen “J” as she knows Kuta Lombok like the back of her hand. Lovely stay and would stay again.

We were very impressed and really love the deco and set up of the vila, a true charm. It's about 5mins walk to the main road through an unpaved road. Quite tricky to get to the villa but thanks to google map! The room is clean and very spacious. Good air con, warm shower and water pressure. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Many work/resting area around the villas to just chill outside with 2 pools. Massage was so so. Restaurant food is good and staffs were helpful. Wifi is good too. Will definitely stay at Kies Villas again in future.

As we had only stayed in hostels for the entire trip we decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade to finish of our trip so booked the Exotic Bungalow. It was therefore surprising that having avoided bed bugs for the whole trip, after our first couple of nights staying at Kies Villas all three of us were covered in bed bug bites, with about 15 bites on my forearm alone which is quite embarrassing now I have returned to the UK. However despite this I would still recommend the villa as once we had alerted the staff to what had happened they were extremely friendly, apologetic and very accommodating- moving us instantly to an upgraded villa. I guess these things cannot be helped but the way the staff dealt with the matter was very professional. The breakfast that is included is good value for money as well with a variety of choice so you could mix it up and have something different each morning to try.

Satisfactory with our stay at president villa. Very spacious villa comes with 2 bedroom and large private pool which means can nude swim, haha. Room Service are great , staff are helpful. wifi stable. Not much misquote cause many gecko around to eat them. We stay in the pool area all day long.

I wish I was still there!! The lay out is private, GORGEOUS, unique and so true of Lombok. The staff is insanely friendly and helpful, shout out to Carl! Food was great, the bathroom is outdoors and is more perfect than you could imagine. What a gem, you will be so happy the minute you walk in and throughout your entire stay.

The hotel is exotic, breathtaking and spotless. It is close to town, beaches and beautiful sunset locations.The staff are professional, friendly and very helpful at arranging skooters, drivers or to help arrange day trips. The common pool areas are spectacular and are very relaxing. Our driver, arranged through the hotel was friendly and helpful. This hotel and team was amazing. I would love to return back and would highly recommend this property.
